Rabaraci Delegate Walks Out On IPO

In a heated debate on the floor of the IPO General Assembly, Rabarac's Delegate to the IPO Claudius Brahms became enraged and stormed out, apparently after a discussion about some kind of improved observer status.  Our reporters managed to secure a brief interview.  This is what he had to say;

"Don't listen to the rhetoric!  The IPO is at best an amoral, incompetent body, but more likely it has far more sinister intentions!  I regret that the name of peace has been slandered to this degree, and I petition the Senate to immediately withdraw from the IPO.  I, for one, am stepping down from this dishonorable position."

Details are still coming in, but Kathrian officials have already voiced their outrage.  This has supposedly gone all the way up to the Queen Bee herself, Ms. Karina Dalma.  The Standard will keep you updated as this hot international issue develops.

IPO Fiasco Fallout for Rabarac

It's official; Claudius Brahms, former Rabaraci delegate to the International Peace Organization, sure knows how to make some waves.  In fact, the ripple from his outburst over an observer status has reached all the way to the top of Rabarac's mother country, the Glorious Conglomerate of Kathria.  Karina Dalma, CEO and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the GCK has announced that she will be taking over the Foreign Advocate's Office's operations and has already sent Managers to begin the process.  Her plans are to arrive by Kathrian Airlines tonight, and to assume direct control over the Office of the Foreign Advocate tomorrow morning.
The Foreign Advocate's Office is responsible for appointing Brahms to the IPO delegation, and Magorion Klausovich, Rabarac's Foreign Advocate, is sure to be feeling the pressure, as the Kathrian noose closes on his office, and his job.  Nevertheless, in our interview he didn't show it a bit (probably what makes him a decent diplomat), when he said, "We are happy to have this cleared up with the CEO personally.  It will turn an ugly international situation into an opportunity to build trust with our patron nation Kathria, and hopefully the IPO will recognize the divergence of Mr. Brahms as an isolated incident."
If only it were such a positive message coming from the other side.  Under condition of anonymity, a Kathrian source close to one of the Managers said, "The Managers are conducting an investigation into the possibility of anti-conglomerate elements being involved.  Mr. Brahms himself has not been directly implicated yet, nor has Mr. Klausovich."  Could the Foreign Advocate's Office really be infiltrated by an anti-government cell?
The Standard would remind the reader that it was not too long ago that Jonathan Klausovich, Magorion's distant nephew, was revealed to be the leader of an anti-government cell within the military at the end of the Cantr Wars.  He was trying to destabilize the relationship between Cantr and Kathria in the battlefield, according to the Kathrian indictment.  He escaped custody during his trial and has not been seen or heard from since.  It is thought that he is hiding in the Haradrim Empire, and is now an official enemy of the state.  Could Uncle Magorion be following in his nephew's footsteps?  Or is Brahms merely a terribly undiplomatic ideologue with a short fuse?  The Standard will continue following this story as it develops.

Kathrian CEO heads to Rabarac!

The nation is preparing to receive the Chief Executive Officer of the Glorious Conglomerate of Kathria, Ms. Karina Dalma herself!  Ms. Dalma, the second female and youngest (early-to-mid 30s, precise age not public knowledge) CEO in the Conglomerate's history, has revolutionized the relationship between Rabarac and Kathria during her tenure.  Her first act in office several years ago was the organization of a suppression force to overcome the anti-government elements in the Rabaraci Civil War.  When this force stabilized Rabarac after months of guerrilla warfare in the streets of Caras Tavald, Caras Beleg, and Maeron City, Ms. Dalma pledged further support of a new Rabaraci government and installed an advisory Board of Directors to the independent Rabaraci government.  Now the Senate, the Advocate, and the Board coordinate government efforts for the betterment of Rabaraci and Kathrian citizens.
The suicidal foreign policy of members of the Foreign Advocate's Office has necessitated the personal oversight of one of Kathria's most able and popular diplomats.  The current situation is really a blessing in disguise for the government of Rabarac; Ms. Dalma's reputation for improving efficiency and results is second-to-none!  Not only can we look forward to completely repaired image on the world stage, but also a reduction in government waste and further expediencies for the decision-makers of Rabarac.  The Rabaraci populace can breathe a sigh of relief as one of the world's foremost fighters of corruption in government takes the wheel of the good ship Rabarac.

Brahms Guilty of Treason!

The butt of all the late-night talk show jokes in the past week was outed today as a bona fide conspirator in a secret cabal of anti-conglomerate terrorists.  It appears that Claudius Brahms met Jonathan Klausovich before the Cantr Wars and the two became enamored of the anti-conglomerate brand of anarchy.  While Klausovich is now happily rotting in some god-forsaken desert in Harad, Brahms was sentenced today by a Kathrian tribunal in Raphian City, the capital of Kathria.  His attorney did not return our calls, but the prosecution effort, led by renowned Kathrian attorney Dieter Junge, had this to say, "It is a great day for the Kathrian Conglomerate, including her colony Rabarac.  Justice has been delivered by the Kathrian Tribunal Corporation (a division of the Glorious Conglomerate), and today, Kathrians and Rabaraci alike are safer than ever before!  These anti-conglomerates are dangerous rebels who only wish to create a power vacuum and establish a rule of force.  The unity of the Glorious Conglomerate is at stake with these anarchists.  The people have spoken now, and the people's justice has been done."
The Standard reports that further investigation into the apparently rebel-infested Foreign Advocate's office in Rabarac is ongoing and turning up not a short list of other conspirators.  No word as to the standing of the Foreign Advocate himself, Magorion Klausovich.
