Sevda sat in her Hotel room watching the television, the Xyraeli programs were reporting the new birth of the Mor'osi Heirs, the Emperor and Empress were on a bed with their children in her arms. She some what smiled at this humorously, I know my ambition will be accomplished when I have the opportunity to meet those babies, the story continued with Xyraeli rubbish about a safe city, and apparently they found more of her family. However what was also big was the continuation of her father's death. On the news they made it a victory but to many of the people it was a tragedy. She now realized the true power her father held not only through business but with the people. The story of killing millions of Moacians made him a great Martyr figure. She slightly teared at his image and her mother's memory.
A pattern of knocks on the door broke her train of thought as she sat there on the bed motionlessly. The knocks were struck again and this time she remembered. She walked to the door to see people she knew and people she didn't know.
They all walked in greeting her and kissing her, the last one was Vendecci who shut the door and kissed her on both cheeks. He continued to say, "We got the arms into Warehouse 517."
She nodded, "good, very good..."
An adviser by the name Kali Vastavi, took off her headdress and noticed Sevda's face, "Something the matter?"
With a desperate grin Sevda remarked, "I'm fine thank you. Well... what are our stats?"
Vendecci introduced the men she had not met before, "This here is General Haer le'mafta, former officer in the Ozian Legions and now General of the La Savan Militias, they are about 5,000 in number. They have 3,000 IA-7s, 1,000 I-19s."
She nodded to him, "Our militia force is only 5,000?"
Vendecci, with a sorrowful voice said, "unfortunately many are afraid about doing anything, many of the volunteers fought under General Haer and with action he was convinced more would follow. Sevda respectfully eased herself and grinned to the General, "I understand"
Vendecci continued to introduce the next man, young but seemingly reliable, "This man is Dire Ka'labib, he organizes many black market deals, he thinks he could get some arms from other nations... Now... What do we have exactly, they've been dying to know."
Sevda grabbed a clipboard and began reading off the list, "About 7 thousand men, 20 deployed on La Sava for Covert work, the rest on the Carrier. 27 Aircraft, 20 fighters, 3 make-shift bombers, 1 helicopter, and 2 reconnaissance planes. 5 Napalm bombs, about 200 missiles were on the ship for the planes, and crew members have begun making makeshift bombs. One of the planes from Mt. Ijek brought a biological warhead, Anthrax. Currently under sealed storage on the ship. I will most likely disband of it... An I-19 for everyman, a few Anti-Air launchers and a few Anti-Armor Missile launchers. However we only brought about 5,000 I-19 and ammunition from the ship."
The two men seemed worried, the General blurted, "We were told that you had more... This island is not just an infantry garrison, we yet to solve the problem of their armor divisions."
Sevda barked back, "Well, I guess we should build a maze... oh yeah, I was also provided with 30 flags of divine Ozia, though an archaic practice, a flag man will stir up some to join use. Burn every Xyraeli flag you see, kill every Moacian you see. We can't risk anything."
They all nodded, Kali asked, "When do we attack?"
Sevda walked to the window and sat by it while the others listened on, she pointed outside at an officer on a street corner, "When that man is dead."
The Ozians carefully edged to the window to see what Dire Sevda was talking about, there on the street corner was an officer that looked like he had a high officer ranking, he was talking to a group of soldier that were patrolling the area. As they looked on Sevda walked back with a sordid grin on her face, At once the Ozians were astonished the man who was directing the soldier suddenly stopped. With a closer look he apparently fell down and the soldiers he was just ordering sought cover. They looked back at Sevda one after the other wondering what just happened, she remarked to them, "Go already, send your soldiers to the Warehouse. We have a city to take."
