Today's Apocalyptivity™:
Reading Ancient Prophecy
This was predicted, long ago. If only we had heeded their warnings, the time of the reveling and dance in the face of certain death could have been so much longer and so much sweeter. Read over this eerily apt quatrain from the prophet Nostradamus (link:
here ):
The exiles will hold the great city,
The citizens dead, murdered and driven out:
Those of Aquileia will promise Parma
To show them the entry through the untracked places.
Alarmingly, Nostradamus predicts that there is more than one "exile." It is clear, though, that he refers to our wayward SPAMMINGNATIONSTATES, who cannot access NS from home and has thus been exiled to the libary. The great city must be Nationstates itself - through his actions, he will have the NSers "driven out", or "dead" from the force of his spamming.
The second two lines are trickier, but I believe I have extracted their meaning. Aquileia anagrams into "Aqua, I Lie", which must refer to The Pacific (which, I don't know, whoever lies the most). Alternatively, Aquileia anagrams into Equalia I, and this almost certainly refers to the single-nation region of "The League of Social Equality". The reference to Parma is disturbing in its prescience; Read the following from wikipedia (my boldface):
There are two famous types of Italian prosciutto crudo exported abroad: prosciutto di Parma, from Parma, and prosciutto di San Daniele, from the San Daniele del Friuli area, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.
HAM! Nostradamus has cunningly referenced ham, which is the main ingredient (possibly) in SPAM! SPAMMING NATIONSTATES! Parma, therefore, is a reference to SPAMMINGNATIONSTATES.
Whoever Aquileia is, the quatrain clearly states that SPAMMING will be shown the way into the deepest regions of NS by this traitor. We could try to stop them, but I fear that fate will not be so kind to revision.
