I actually met a grown woman once who used to follow her favorite (folk-music!!!) band around sometimes two times a week.

:-\ howcome? you think I meet only giggly girlies like you irl also? No sir, this was a grown woman in her late 40's, I suppose that's why she was so nuts about that band, who quite frankly, sucked bigtime. What surprised was that the lady owned a small business that allowed her to travel around following her idols, at ease and with no financial worries. I also had a lot of teachers that were grown women. And my land-lady. And a sister at the clinic when they fixed my hand. And a lady taxi driver. And my mom.

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!  For the second year running, my champion is in the final.  I just hope this year goes better than last year (I picked OSU)...
"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
