We should be having nominations and election but this has not happened.  Let's take a quick poll.

I voted for 'none of the above' because I endorse McMasterdonia's movement for a new government. I would personally be much more inclined to be active in politics again if there was a new government.

Interesting.  Thanks Letonna for your response :)

Should I add an option for McMasterdonia's movement?

I think we could reform further, I voted for WAD non-exec, he should be part of a Ministry. What if we do have people that administrate, that have a responsibility of doing so, Ministers and whatnot, but every action is under scrutiny, we make a general assembly/parliament where EVERYBODY, without ANY restrictions, can participate. No leader/"delegate"/president, we vote on what Ministries are necessary, people come forward to be responsible for each Ministry, and perform it's responsibility.

WAD will be part of External Affairs. Anybody can participate as long they have a mandate from the "assembly". But how do we define a quorum, how many people are needed to reach a decision? I believe it should work as I was proposing here:
http://forum.taijitu.org/legislative-branch/senate-quorum-call/

People just sign in and they can participate in the next available session. The Quorum would update itself by the "quorum call", we'd know how many people are "available" to debate and decide about Taijitu.

I'm sick of trying to do stuff for Taijitu and never having the actual power to do so. Even when I was Delegate, nothing changed, I requested admins, requested founders, requested things to change, nobody did anything. Suddenly several admins "came back" to contest my work-arounds, but weren't available when I was requesting stuff. These people need to understand, this region won't work because they don't want to work it, but that doesn't mean other's don't want it either, what's the harm of change? Afraid of what? You can manipulate admin and founder however you want, I don't care, just let us play the damn game properly, give us the tools to govern the region properly.

Oz has been a gentleman with Tourette syndrome, which was fine while I had to tell everybody of his Tourette syndrome. Now he's autocratic, we could even say dictatorial, tyrannical. There's a senate, with 2 people active but it exists. If there's a problem, he doesn't want to be the Delegate that the Constitution demands and doesn't want to govern properly, fine, but at least use the fricking Senate before you do autocratic crap.

It's time we remove the power from a single person - leaders, presidents, tyrants - some Delegates tried to work this through and nobody cared, others abuse it's power to obliterate participation. It's time we give power to participation, let our people know that they can decide things, they're in a political game, they didn't sign in NS to be pawns of a psychopath. It'll take time, we'll face problems, but it will work, let people participate.

Maybe it'll even be fun!? :drunks:

At least, we could give it a try.
