Election Looms

Hello Taijitu
How's life in your nation? If you have any news I'd be interested to hear about it.
On 25th August we had an election, I took part and conceded it to Oz, who won it fair and square. :) It was quite close because we were initially tied with the same number of votes each, so one vote could have swung it either way.
But Oz won, and I think he's been committed to the region and continued serving it the last seven weeks.
Legally though, we must have a delegate election every seven weeks, and that's up right now.
Therefore I will be calling upon the Chief Justice to run a new election immediately. If there is no Chief Justice I will be calling upon our delegate to appoint a new one right away so we can get on with an election.
So it's a good time to get involved, join the forum or post on the RMB, and I hope whoever wins there will be a chance again for all of us to improve the region and reactivate it.

I think we're in no shape for any election unfortunately. The only activity in this forum is Letonna's honest curiosity over my life which frankly is pretty good material to keep readers interested.

Also there was a coup, Eddies' in charge now, and we don't have a Chief Justice and I don't see how you're going to get 1 Chief Justice, 1 Delegate and 3 Senators to keep things going.

Oz barely keeps in touch
Letonna and I are doing some bromance
You - Lapeirousia

So where's the other guy for Chief Justice? Not to mention internal / external affairs

EDDIES's is not a coup, being the legitimate sucessor to St Oz.

McM's wasn't really a coup as he didn't manage to take power.

If Oz refuses to give up power to his feline LD then, ridiculous as it sounds, I think we need to consider calling on McM's assistance for smooth and hopefully bloodless transition.

A smooth and bloodless transition. I dont know.

The coup has been the most highly effective Government since Delfos was Delegate. I'm not sure if we want to participate in this "election"

There hasn't been a coup since I was Delegate. Are you promoting your coup as highly effective government?

I'm saying it has been the most highly effective government since you were Delegate.

Your administration was better, but the coup is hardly worse than St Oz being Delegate.

Again, Delegates don't promote activity, you all do. It's all your damn faults. No elections until you all improve your activity.

indeed :-P

McM's going to have to get on the WFE if he wants his "coup" to be taken seriously.  He is invisible to the common Taiji.

Oz, on the other hand, has made terrific contributions to Taijitu in his term.  He has provided unparalleled stability in terms of the WFE entry.  Not a single letter of the WFE has been lost, according to current estimations, we are at 100% level of WFE preservation.

Another thing he has done is bring in his cat.  I think that is our executive now.

And like Oz said, more action needed.

I fail to see any issue with the coup. Nobody is getting banned, and we are on better terms with regions like Osiris now that St Oz has been relocated to the Royal fools office. :)

Of course, I jest. St Oz agreed to lead this region basically because nobody cared, and we needed a Delegate. That is simply the reality of it.
