Should I?
« on: November 03, 2013, 07:17:11 PM »
Should I do something? Run for office? Stamp-recruit? Gather various people who might RP, discuss general matters?

Should I instead support Lap and Delfos doing.. whatever it is they want to do?

Should I work to make mcmasterdonia the supreme leader for life?

Or should we let Taijitu end, closing the region down as a monument to it's past?

My mind isn't made up.

It seems those are questions that even if we try really hard we won't help much make up your mind.

D - Last first, I believe you and others endear Taijitu enough, plus doesn't make much sense while people are still trying to have some fun with it, ending all together. We've had our ups and down, I'm sure you'd like to manage the longevity of Taijitu.

A - You running for office would be cute. But what you said next is something we need whichever the positivist idea we may follow.

B - "whatever it is they want to do" is already a bad prospective where you don't want to be involved with. I assure you the class struggle is very important, and as a man that has defended democracy for Taijitu for so long, idk why'd you not consider those options to be the future.

C - Remember, all the tyrants before and during Taijitu, what Taijitu stands for, our motto which some people may have forgotten, doesn't it deserve that we go deeper on the concept of freedom and democracy? This option in incompatible with the nature of Taijitu. Plus McMaster has had other interests, who knows how long this would last.

but we can always try B and C together for a while. Give me a section of the forum, I'll try to make it interesting with people fighting for Petrograd..erm, fighting for Taijitu.

I am disappointed with the lack of faith in  me :P

If I was made King Regent, I would not abandon this region. That said, I did not intend for that system to be implemented. Delfos is being more extreme than ever.

As for you running for office that is for you to decide. If we do revive it should not be a half-hearted attempt, that would just be embarrassing imo.

I invite you to join the Senate now, if you are not holding an office that precludes it.

Delfos is currently the governmental pillar that holds this region upright, and whether you support him or not, you should definitely listen to him.

There are people who are calling on you, Eluvatar, to lead us out of this dark period.  I think that is a lovely idea, but are you the only one who can lead us?  If that is true then it is bad for democracy that we cannot survive without you in control.  I would implore you to be involved in this region as much as you can spare, your talents are highly desired and most needed.  We do not lack direction, we lack momentum.  The directions that have been proposed have not been followed.  That said, if anyone can point us in the most correct of all directions, it is you.

I can see a Delfos-McMasterdonia dichotomy emerging and I think that could be an interesting paradigm to develop, the competing visions of Taijitu.

Whether you run or not, you should definitely do something, and I will give you any help you ask for.

I must make something clear, I'd welcome Eluvatar to be Delegate, he has some interesting ideas and he has held the hand of Delegates through their tough times.

Yet I still urge for reform, if Eluvatar must be, then he ought to be the best for transition to liberate the region, and the world, from the oppression of the ruling class.
