Hello from The Flying Mong
« on: May 26, 2007, 09:45:26 PM »
The Flyng Mong is proud to announce the arrival of Mingerville to what appears to be a most intriguing region. I was most entertained by the recent political discussion about the nature of Democracy - I believe there is not one Democratically elected Government in the world that holds more than 55% of the counrties vote - in fact it is this kind of debate that convinced me to move here.  I trust I will not be disappointed nor disappoint you! Mingerville is a disputed territory where firm control has recently been established by the benevolent and somewhat Psychotic Flying Mong. Although The Mong strives for civil liberty and freedom, its people are stupid, vain and obsessed by appearance and overwhelmed by consumerism. (This is one of the reasons for the territories  being renamed.) Only absolute control of the decision making process has allowed Mingersville to emerge from the chaos of civil strife. The Flying Mong looks forward to contributing to this most welcoming region.

The man behind the Mong is unfortunately a lot less psychotic and certainly not from Northern Europe. (not that there is anything wrong with being from that part of the world)

Hello and welcome!  Democracy fails; that is why you should all be socialists.

well welcome to the region and welcome to the forum. we are all pretty nice and good natured.... well except for Ryaz but even he has his moments. but yes if you look around you are bound to find the following:

Allama prophesizing the future while doing a table dance.
G-C handing out copies of his revised version of the Communist Manifesto done in red crayon.
Myroria telling everyone they are wrong for not voting for Hanso in the delegate elections.
The G-Rebellion bringing out the Spanish Inquisition (pretend you didn't suspect them).
S-Dixie handing out free shots of moonshine just to get you hooked.
Delfos explaining why the Portuguese are the chosen race while doing handstands.
Algeriabania selling baby pandas by the pound.
and of course myslef keeping them all motivated with hot pizza and lapdances.

oh and watch out for Soly's cookies....

Silly woman.

Welcome my dear friend. Flying Mong is certainly an original name. I respect originality.

The Mong is pleased by your reaction, but ... Hedonism ..... The ultimate opiate of the masses - what better way to control the errrr..... (the Mong struggles to find a tactful enough phrase, but then realises that he is THE MONG and does not care) stupid and the indifferent?!

Why bother with Socialism indeed - too much consciousness and stuff, makes people hard to control.... :drunks:

Yes, the era of the individual is certainly upon upon us - and not needing to think about the strictures of society certainly gives the illusion of freedom - so will it be the red pill or the blue pill?

Welcome to the region with the most unpronounceable name in NS.
To those that knew me, I am back.
To those that did not know me, hello.
And for those who still have no idea who I am, they say ignorance is bliss.
