yeah 40k isn't great someone I know has introduced me to something called flames of war which looks quite awesome.  I'm thinking of running a short campaign set in a kind of alternate world where the allies are going to invade via Norway.  me and a friend are thinking of doing a preliminary German airborne attempt to seize the Faeroe islands which could be interesting. I'll post info when it happens.
