ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE CHANCELLOR'S COUNCIL

The Dominion of Chinese Loyalist hereby on this day and time, cease to recognize the sovereignty of Canada. The territories in which the Empire of Canada claims are now consider rogue by nature and our government would not give recognition or legitimacy to any treaty or law that governs the said areas.

If any separate local group or entity is to claim these rogue territories as part of (their) state or nation (and the said group appears to have appeal and legitimacy to their claim) the DCL may potentially recognize them as the legitimate constitution that governs the concerned territories.

Falco: "I like the idea of voting for their government. But I also like the idea of a constitutional monarchy. Perhaps if we come to a compromise. What if the Emperor agrees to become a constitutional monarch with some political powers. We then open the country to elections. Then the Imperial and RLF armies along with the assitance of the Defian, Fenexian, Salestian, and Gallipoli-Chinese forces will keep the peace. Make sure that the elections are not harrassed by terrorists. We then see who wins the elections. But I need to know that if the RLF wins the elections, they will allow the Emperor to remain on the throne. But I want to know what the other countries think.

Yuri: "We must let the people have their word!"

Kazi whispering: "Calm down, they will break down sometime, either they let the people decide or we enforce it..."

Yuri took a deep breath: "We believe this referendum is very important, we cannot force the population to be ruled by something they do not want."

Falco: They won't be ruled by the Emperor. Instead the he will reign, but the people will rule.

OOC: Referring to The Awakening thread: http://forum.taijitu.org/general-roleplay/the-awakening/0/
If you want to continue the talks, that's fine, just RP your guys/gals surviving.

IC: From nowhere sirens and alarms went off around the palace. Guards were moving faster than anyone had ever seen them move. They surrounded the delegates yelling, "Down, down! Get down!" Seconds later an explosion was heard outside and overhead. As the ceiling crashed down amongst them, it looks as if talks were done, at least for the moment.

Soy protected Kazi and drawn his MR.444 out. Kazi reached his suitcase and pressed the button on the bottom, soon the New Delfos Air Force would take them out if necessary.

The conference hall was designed with such security concerns in mind. While everybody hid under the gigantic granite oval table and avoid any serious injury, Aurelius opened up the path under the table. Delegates slowly walked to an underground room that looked almost identical to the conference hall, albeit smaller with scenery replaced by projected images.

(OOC: first thing happened already a bit earlier...sorry, I wasn´t there for a time.)

As the G-Chinese diplomat asked her for the position of the Feniexian forces, she closed her eyes for about three seconds, then she opened it again. "I am very sorry, I don´t assume you want this information for you to use it against as, but it is strongly against our habits to tell other than very close allies about our operations. Don´t take this as an offense please, but we have a very strict security codex."

(OOC: after the alarm)

Miray stayed very calm. She took her medium-sized suitcase and rushed as quickly as her light dress allowed her under her table, showing nearly supernatural reflexes, then she followed the other delegates into the secret room. Then, she quickly opened her suitcase and took out a heavy kevlar suit, which she quickly put on. "Always equipped for cases of danger." she said, nearly smiling, before tooking out another Feniexian army equipment piece - a UNI Visor V3.2 compact.

"Shall I call for help?"

Dr. Hayden Stanner pulled out a .45 caliber pistol from beneath his suit.

"Anyways, what i wanted to say is: maybe constitutional monarchy would be the best system for the Confederation: having an elected chancellor rule the country and the Emperor as a more representative person."

OOC: Why is everyone carrying some weapon to the summit? Delegates were supposed to be unarmed! Though Takasian security measures are not the strictest, don't make our country completely out of control!

In the rush to get under the table, Klaus was the slowest and, no sooner than he crawled to get underneath, a large chunk of ceiling fell on his right leg. Aurelius and one of the guards helped him lift the boulder off of his leg and, after tying a turniquite around his thigh, he asked Mr. Aurelius, "I'm so sorry, Herr Diplomas. How soon can you get a medic down here? I'm afraid I will be unable to continue in person. Please, though, inform myslef at this number," he jots down a number on a piece of scrap paper lying around, "and I will try to give you all my decision and Talstadt's position on these continuing matters."

Klaus was sent to the Royal Medic Services within the Summer Palace premises. He did not seem to be seriously injured, though an observation of a week would be needed.

Klaus was presented with the opportunity to join the summit through the 3G video conference with the other delegates (sponsored by T Mobile). And it is now up to his choice to carry on with the talks or just to take a good rest in the Medic Services.

OOC: This is from the assassination attempt.
Deputy Chancellor Falco had been knocked out by the blast. All he heard were screams and then everything went black. He woke up and noticed people were helping him down the stairs to a underground bunker. Harold looked over his shoulder at his saviors. One was the delegate from Gallipoli-China, but the other person was what shocked Harold. The face that he saw was the grim face of Colonel Boris Wyler. "Deputy Chancellor, you might support the Emperor, but you are of my people. Let that mean we have no fight between us. Boris helped into a chair and then sat next to him. Harold turned. "Thank you."

OOC: well, I was going to have Jonah killed, but since Canada's RP'd him surviving...

IC: Jonah turned away from the two Cree, clutching his bleeding, searing shoulder.  Even to help drag Falco the short distance had caused the wound to open further.  It felt like there was something still in there...

"Somebody get me out of here."

1st Air Force - Recon Squad will soon arrive.

Quote
EMERGENCY TELEGRAM - HIGH PRIORITY
From: New Delfos Air Force General, Boris Janovisk
To:King of Takasia, Takas I

We received an emergency call from Councilor Lot Doyen Kazi. Satellite confirms he's inside peace summit. We already sent a Recon Squad, they were ordered not to engage, but if this is some kind of threat to our nation they will make some wreck. We need to know your intentions AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so there is no diplomacy rape.

This time the squad avoided Varkour's airspace passing way near the 4000alt, without establishing radio link. They flew down and contacted Takasian public airspace: "Takasia center, this is Delfian Recon Squad 1, special permission through Bravo airspace, also notice Takasian airforce not to engage, over."
ooc:I'm RPing your public airspace as a normal one, you can bring it from here.
Takasia Center ATC: "Delfos Recon Squad 1, this is Takasia Center. We haven't received any special permission, please do not enter public airspace, we are notifying our air force of your presence."
NDAF RS1: "Negative Takasia Center ATC, we have orders to standby around your airspace until permission is cleared or situation gets under control, we have no hostility in this area so far, please advise for nearby crafts, over."
TC ATC: "Delfos Recon Squad, this is Takasia Center. There is two commercial airplanes nearby, one towards North 9 o'clock, another one towards East 2 o'clock. We still have no special permission, please stay out of the public airspace or we will be forced to alert the defenses."
NDAF RS1: "Negative, Takasia Center, we have our orders, please wait for military approval or disapproval, over."

A phone rang in one frontier Takasia AF outposts: "Yes?"

voice: "Takasian AF southern outpost? This is General Boris Janovisk of New Delfos Air Force, we have sent an urgent telegram to your head of state, our air force have entered your airspace as you might have been notified. Please do not engage until this situation is cleared out,t hey do not have orders to engage and nor to invade public airspace. Could you link me to your highest officer?"
