Adara had perfected her mark despite being blind. Though to the foreign eye it looked like scribbles it was in fact traditional Ozian, and before she signed it, her priestess read the document to her.

She tried to smile but couldn't, her regret was holding her down, "Gaea has felt the tolls of such a blast. Gaea's spirit is not suited for such madness and cowardice."

Prime Minister Black normally jovial and smiling was now quite somber. he signed the document in traditional Enochian script where his name was represented by a single symbol:

this was written in red ink.

"of course we agree to these terms. it saddens me that anyone would stoop to the use of the Universal Fire to burn the city of their enemies. even Azathoth would not be so thoughtless. Mekkal you have our support and we shall help your people deal with this fallout and shall send you any food you need."

Black started powersmoking his cigarettes and had his aide bring him a cup of red sake offering it around to the others.

Mekkal had been busily writing up another document, this one specifically for the Sancta.

Quote
Draft Resolution

Ozian-Eastian Relations

REALIZES Ozian involvement in Easteros has helped maintain stability and solidarity,

RECOGNIZES Ozia's need for fresh water ports to supply overseas forces all year long,

ENCOURAGES Ozia to continue to seek profit through legitimate Eastian governments instead of colonies,

HOPES to further increase unity between Easteros and Ozia, Xyrael iterates the following:

  • Leases Ozia an embassy with the following specifications:

  • 30 sq km of land.
  • Harborage for eighty naval vessels, civilian or military.
  • STIA will be granted limited access to State information files concerning cases it is investigating.
  • Complete sovereignty over this land until the end of a 40 year renewable lease.
  • Requests access to two factories for the production of small arms by XMS, as well as stations for two hundred thousand State Infantry soldiers to be used in the event of an attack on Ozia;

  • Requests a defensive military alliance between the Xyraeli State and Ozia;

  • Allows Ozian forces complete access to the Straight of Atl, insofar that all operations within our waters are disclosed to the State;

  • Guarantees continued trade status with Ozia, and protection of Ozian goods;

  • Requests that this treaty act as guidelines for future Ozian-Xyraeli relations, and not function as a limit.
Mekkal passes the paper over to Ozia, then looks to Prime Minister Black, sensing the man’s hopefulness. “Perhaps, Prime Minister Black, you would like to come to an arrangement with the State as well? I believe I can write up a draft if you can tell me what assurances you would like from the State.” Mekkal let’s another smile cross his face. “Perhaps, if we look further East, we can find something mutually lucrative for both of our states,” Mekkal winked slightly to the Prime Minister as he glanced to a map on the wall of Ryazania.

The Sancta signed the document as well with her same scribbly signicture, though she missed the line where to sign and signed sideways of it by mistake but still clear to anyone to see it.

Francis followed the gaze of Mekkal and grinned. ahh ryazania scourge upon the proud Eastian blood. for too long have those bloodtraitors been left to their indecency.

"well my friend i would like to set up a full alliance with xyrael. it will be a good sign of unity on Easteros for our nations to sign such a pact. also i have been wondering for some time what to do about the situation in northern ryazania.... such anarchy can not be allowed to flourish and stain the reputation of our people. also trade between us i would like to open up fully, we have much to gain through working together in all things."

Prime Minister Black looked at Mekkal with a large grin full of hope and eyes full of plots for the unification of the pure blood of easteros.

OOC: the following is an arrangement between Uichi Ryu and Xyrael. No other nation may claim, without the use of extensive and heavily involved RP, to know of this treaty until such time as it is revealed. Furthermore, evidence of racist and eugenicist policies of Uichi Ryu and Xyrael have not been disclosed and continue to remain highly secret. I invite any Eastian nation which wishes to become involved in any form of union to PM me.

 Prime Minister Black signed the piece of paper and shook the hand of Mekkal. he whispered to the xyraeli, "but of course Uichi ryu wishes for a complete military alliance with Xyrael. we just need to leave the UASS on peaceful terms."

good thing for our ozian friends that they are of a stock related to our own.

A new person entered the conference, a man in a black 3-piece-suit. Seeing he drew the attention of the other representatives in the conference hall as he entered:
"Good day, ladies and gentlemen, I am Radu Betshev, Saletsian foreign minister. I have been invited to this conference by the State of Xyrael."
He then waited for a reaction.

It was his second time out on an important mission for his homeland.
He was glad that at least this time he wasn't`t traveling on a military plane but a civilian one, lend to his mission by the civilian airline TAL.
He read over the documents his subordinates had assembled about the nations of Uichi Ryu and Xyrael. It wasn't much beside what was commonly known.
„Sir“ the man in the black suit said „We will land shortly at Xyraels capitol.“
„Thank you“ he replied absently, looking up from the folder and out of the window.
Below him passed a country much like his own. Dense jungles interrupted only by rivers and lakes.
The aircraft swung around and the safety signs went on.
From what the weather forecast told it would be warm and humid.
Not as hot and humid as home but still not enough difference to cause him any trouble adjusting.
A pair of fighter jets appeared outside seemingly out of nowhere and moved into an escort pattern.
The passenger liner began to descend as beneath it a huge city appeared.
The jet touched down and rolled onto a piece of tarmac separated by fences and guards from the rest of the field.
He unlocked the seat belt and grabbed his attache case.
The aircraft docked and the door swung open.
Minister Yar  was greeted by a group of men in black suits and armed soldiers.
„This way Minister, please“ one of the men said and  and escorted him trough the heavily guarded airport.
Soon after he was on his way to the meeting aboard an armored car.

The armoured car brought Foreign Minister Yar into the conference room, where Radu Betshev had also just arrived. These new arrivals were a bit of a surprise for the Talmanner, who was not expecting the conference to broaden across Easteros. Premier Mekkal rose to greet the two, firmly shaking their hands before showing them to their seats, while outside in the lobby the guards shifts changed up, and fresh soldiers were brought in.

"Welcome, gentlemen. Prime Minister Black, I have invited these men to discuss a notion of solidarity, the notion of what it is to be Eastian, living on our wonderful paradise continent. It has been a thought in my mind for some time now that there should be an Eastian economic union which offers safety and support between the nations of Easteros. Before I contribute any ideas, would Terrangar, Saletsia, or Uichi Ryu have any ideas they would like to share?"

Before taking his seat Minister Yar took the time to greet the assembled emissary's.
"Prime Minister Black it is good to see you again. I hope everything is well"
To the Talmann King he made a bow "Eure Majestät, es ist mir eine Ehre euch persönlich zu treffen"
The representatives of Oz and Saletsia were greeted in the same polite manner.

Letter to Radu Betshev

Could you kindly mention our geopolitical weakness about all the racism towards the delfian expressed in the UASS Council? They don't seem very interested, but introducing the issue is crucial to see what friendship we have left in Taijitu. Maybe one day we will follow you.

Radu Betshev greeted all other representatives in polite manner. And - as the Xyraelite representative asked - he started speaking on what Saletsia envisioned:
"We Saletsians think ti would be quite profitable for all of us to sign a free trade agreement. Thus making trade amongst Eastian nations easier. This would mean a more open passage by land/air and sea on éeconomic level.", he paused, "and perhaps we can also cooperate in technological ventures, let's say building satellites, telescopes scanning the skies or even meteorological stations."

FM Betshev then remembered the letter sent to him by Kein Swotten. Would they even care?

"There is another topic I would like to tell you about and that would be the genocide committed against the Delfian people throughout Taijitu. We are informed of a Delfian minority living in Easteros, namely in the People's Loyalist Republic. I therefore ask what you think ought to be done if such genocides occur in our beloved Easteros?"

!On the first part I agree with the Salestian representative.
Such an agreement would be beneficial. It would broaden our trade across Easteros  and strengthen our economys.
As long as it is not hindering our trade with our partners outside Easteros we would follow the Salestian proposal.
Might I also add that our government just signed the spending of a large amount of money on a space program to which we would like to invite other Nations.

On the matter of the Delfian people I know little about them. Maybe the the Salestian representative could enlighten me?
It would allow for a better understanding of the situation and help in finding a solution.
I can however say that our nation would not permit a genocide on any race for any reason."

"A space joint-space program would surely benefit us all. And regarding the free trade policy, it should not hinder us from maintaining economic ties to non-Eastian nations. Since that would also be a disadvantage.

And regarding the Delfian people, we know that Myrorians are reported to often murder Delfians in their nation and seeing the growing influence of Myroria to our neighbor - the People's Republic of Loyalist - it may be possible that Myrorians brign with them their bad attituded to Easteros regarding this matter. Anyhow, I believe the best thing would be if we all in here agree to not tolerate any form of genocide against the Delfian people in our countries."
