« on: October 31, 2007, 02:20:30 AM »
These books are excellent reads and if anyone wants to discuss them then tg me. Maybe we could do a book club. Im new to the region so im just trying to find a interesting area to get involved in.

Tears of the Cheetah by Stephen J. O'Brien
The Gecko's Foot by Peter Forbes
Radical Evolution by Joel Garreau
The Everlasting Man by G.K. Chesterton
... The Watchmen by Alan Moore is a really good one. It is actually in the process of becoming a film.

I almost bought Activating Evolution the other day. The Watchmen is actually really cool. I read it this summer. I heard that Rice University, in particular, has a huge following. Or at least thats what I heard. I like those huge books on world history for some reason. I think i have every one they sell at like at barnes and noble.
