Only had a couple of tacos (they're not that eaten here in Europe) but when I did, I went for a standard meat, cheese, tomato and salsa. Tastes pretty good but I suck at not making everything fall out the other side when I bite.

I'm pretty standard with my tacos as well. I much prefer burritos though because tacos are so high maintenance.

I'm very restricted when it comes to my preferred taco. Hard shell, non-spicy beef, lettuce, and cheese only.

Also fresh avocado. Great texture addition and tasty even if you already have guacamole!

I agree with that.

I usually put shreded grilled/fried meat on as well. Never considered bacon though...
Hot salsa as well as chili sauce is a must. I like to add chopped jalljapeños and/or chipotles as well.
