Loyalist Defense Intelligence has release the following analysis on some of the prominent military powers of Taijitu. This data is in no way concrete, and reflects the limited sources available to DI analyzers. We tried to be as un-bias as possible. If you disagree with any of our analysis, please post your complaints here, and we'll do our best to ignore them.

Comments: The Ozian military can kick anyone's ass, period. The average soldier ranges from terrorizing gunslingers to zealous close-melee warriors that will tear any opposing army apart in minutes. A conscript rush alone will be enough to overwhelm any nation. Word of advice: Don't mess with this guy.

Comment: Myroria depends on its advance military hardware to carry out its rampage imperial ambitions. In most actions, it depends on small, special force units to carry out operations. The Myrorian military recently fired 90 percent of their recruits after they realized how shit the majority of their army was. No doubt, these ex-servicemen will be looting the streets of Myroria in droves. God bless capitalizm...

The Canadian armed forces is perhaps the most underfund and ragged force ever assembled. The average soldier's annual salary appears to be in $1000-"food stamps" range. Even then, many don't get their paychecks on time, as too much of the budget is used to support top-end stealth fighters that the military can't afford. It is quite possible that you can bribe a Canadian commander with a pack of gum, maybe even half. Suggestions: stop trying to build a massive army and reduce your arm force size by ten times. Then, maybe you get a all-round well-paid and well-armed military.

Comment: Currently in a civil war, the Dixie military has its share of fighting. It appears that the whole nation is significantly mobilized. Little information is available on equipment and training.

Comments: Perhaps the nation with the most well defended territorial waters, the Mercantilist is what the Royal Navy would look like if it had a super budget. Its centerpiece navy and subcorps form protective circle around the main islands, not letting much as a floating leaf pass through without them knowing. Truly a ocean fortress...

Comment: The Uichi Ryu military is an all-round formidable fighting force, both well organize and armed. Uichi Ryu also holds the title of "Taijitu's Sexiest Military", which it shall keep indefinitely. It's entire force is mechanized and it's logistic system is near-prefect. Both Army, Navy, and Air Force are equally potent; leaving no weaknesses in the line of battle. Simply put it, they Kick-Ass.

Comment: The Xyraelians appear to take pride in their military, which is formidable on all accounts. Without it, it will be difficult for the nation to police its prized strategic location.

Ability: Well Train and Armed

Comment: Christstan's military resembles that of Nazi Germany; a large scale army equipped with average weapons. It's no military superpower, but it can hold on it's own well enough. The Christstan military also holds the title of "Tajitu's Most Fake Air Force". Thousands of inflatable mock-ups and decoys cover its military airfields, created to fool overhead spy planes into thinking otherwise. 

Note: Christstan, your Air Force show signs GOD-MOD. There is no way you can be running 92 thousand top-end aircraft with your budget.

Comment: The Talmann military is unstoppable, even the mass uber armies of Oz must cower and retreat from these sons of the War Goddess. They kill without mercy and swipe through the ranks of the enemy like atomic fire. They are perfection of combat and soldiery, a single soldier able to wipe out at least a thousand Ozian warriors before he dies in glorious and beautiful death. They fight for glory and victory itself, no room for the tainted guise of politics and money. The greatest army to walk Taijitu, they will be remember for eons.

I look though each nation's official statistics and take numbers from sunsetrpg. I then do some crude calculations, usually dividing the Defense budget by the # of troops to get the $ per soldier number. I compare the results and budget to RL nations on this page. Equipment is also a major factor, since it affects the amount of strain on your budget and your military tech level.

I also take information from general RP to determine the level of morale and ability. Sometimes, I factor in my own judgment. Of course, this representation is really crude, as I neglect to factor in inflation which affects equipment and pay.

How the hell am I a north korea. I mean I do want to become a superpower, but damn hit me below the belt there. Ok maybe I am spending to much on tech and maybe I should make my military smaller. Explain to me how my morale is desperate and my ability is poor. Also how small should I make it? suggestions?

Relax Canada! Like the disclaimer on sunsetrpg says :

In this case, I'll let you whine, lol. You don't need to take this seriously, that's why its in the Silly RP section.

My reasons for ranking you so low are these:

-You have WAY too much soldiers for your budget. Each Canadian soldier has the average of $2200 for equipment, wages, and other costs. In comparison, North Korea has around $6000-5000 to spend on each soldier...pretty shocking, ey?

-Your military tactics focus is too pre-World War for my liking, but I'm starting to see some changes in that.

-Those neat F-35s and warships cost a lot to research, build, and maintain. This leaves little change left to pay the common private. I can only imagine the morale of soldiers with low pay.

If you want to keep your high tech gadgets and have a decent army, reduce your armed forces to at least 3 million. You'll be up on level with the Russian and UK  military. I'll update your ranking once you make the change.

For the typical Myrorian Sturmmann:

250 KRM for Heckler and Koch G36 (Roughly 500 USD)
300 KRM for basic rations (Roughly 600 USD)
100 KRM for the faux fur and leather trench coat, boots, and pants - think the uniforms of those soldiers in Equilibrium (Roughly 200 USD).

Salary of soldier: 15,000-20,000 KRM (30,000-40,000 USD)

For a combined value of 17,650 KRM per soldier, on average. Multiplied by the number of soldiers I have (40 million), 706,000,000,000, leaving well over a trillion for the rest of the military. This has been Xyrael approved as realistic.
