Taijitu University Lecture Hall

Currently, our University's lecture hall is named the "Aniane Memorial Lecture Hall." I believe this is an inappropriate titling of the lecture hall. Aniane, while an interesting figure in the recent historiography and archeology of Taijitu, is ultimately someone who the region does not know well, and we do not even have record of them posting on our forum. They also seem to have disappeared years ago.

I believe we should rename the memorial hall after someone more fitting. I propose we rename the lecture hall to the "Limitless Events Lecture Hall." Limi did a lot for this region in many ways, including serving for many years as a forum administrator and as a host for the regional minecraft server. Thus, I propose the following resolution (because I don't think it needs to be recorded permanently in the law books).

1. The "Aniane Memorial Lecture Hall" is hereby renamed to the "Limitless Events Lecture Hall."

I'm willing to support the name change, in part because we have uncovered evidence that Aniane existed, and Aniane's legacy has turned out to be underwhelming. That and Limitless Events should probably be remembered somewhere on the forum.

This is correct. Any change to the name will have to be done by amending clause 2e of the University of the Revolution Act. How about:

Clause 2e of the University of the Revolution Act will be amended as follows:

2e. The Aniane Lecture Hall shall be dedicated to lecture and question-and-answer sessions, and shall be dedicated to the memory of Aniane, a short-lived but much-beloved Taijituan.

2e. The Limitless Events Lecture Hall shall be dedicated to lecture and question-and-answer sessions, and shall be dedicated to the memory of Limitless Events, a much-beloved Taijituan.

While I would never downplay the great effect Limitless Events has had on this region, part of the motivation for choosing Aniane was that he was more legendary than real. Even with these new archaeological discoveries shedding some light on Aniane's NationStates life, I'm afraid I cannot, in good revolutionary spirit, support a measure to name the Lecture Hall after such a prominent figure. It strikes me as un-egalitarian.
