Legislative Branch
« on: November 23, 2014, 03:39:27 AM »
In light of the new constitution vote, I think we should discuss the powers that the Ecclesia shall see fit to delegate to the legislature. In the event that Eluvatar's minimalist proposal no one objected to fails, we can always use this discussion to base a new Constitution off of.

I have a lot less to say about the legislative than I do about the executive. I think the Ecclesia is functioning perfectly well and exactly as it was designed. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them

I agree, Ecclesia is doing great.

We should promote this system to other regions, more in the prospect of people finding our region more welcoming than changing their region's system. lol

Once again I have nothing to add apart from my agreement. The Ecclesia is a perfectly simple, straightforward, and effective legislative body.

If the currently-proposed Constitution passes I cannot think what additional powers we would need to enumerate for the Ecclesia.

I like it as it currently is, to reiterate what's already been said.
