Ok...so this is a bit of a pickle.
Feb. 12, 2016 was the final day to lock in nominations. Now Khem nominated Elu on the 11th...and Red Mones seconded on the 12th...so all good there timing wise. Problem is that it is now the 13th. Which means that Elu would be declared ineligible for not accepting in time.
Except that his first post in this thread, on the 11th, could be read as a self-nomination. If that's the case? Then he's in. If it isn't a self-nomination? Then he's ineligible to run.
On one hand I'm predisposed to say that since Elu never said "I'm running" or "I'm nominating myself" he should be declared ineligible. On the other hand...under a certain interpretation? His post could be read as a statement of intent.
The start of the Citizen-Sgt. election will be postponed while the office of the Citizen-Initiator works this out.
