As many of you may be aware, a few days ago Westwind of Equalism, backed by forces from Gatesville and The Rejected Realms, seized the Delegacy of The North Pacific in an attempt to turn it into a puppet region of Gatesville.
The gravity of this action can not be understated. While The North Paific is not reknown for it's governmental stability, it is a cornerstone of NS and would become a stepping stone for more such actions, were it allowed to fall. The intelligence we have recieved suggests that this in fact, is the plan of Gatesville.
Approximately 24 hours after the coup was initiated, I gave the orders for Taijituan Military forces to head into TNP in a counter invasion, aimed at ousting the sitting Westwind Regime. This operation has the blessing of the ousted Government of The North Pacific. As we speak, our troops and commanders are performing magnificently. My heartfelt thanks go out to them.
Though we are there in relatively large numbers, Taijitu's force is not one of occupation, and our troops will be returning home once stability is restored to The North Pacific. Once again affirming the Glory of Taijitu in the face of an pan global threat.
It cannot be stressed enough, that while the battle appears to be progressing in the favour of Taijitu and other regions involved in The Opposition, this can change at a moments notice. Should this occur, defeat will bring with it enormous consequence, perhaps the greatest ever crisis in NationStates. I do not say this lightly or without a detailed working knowlege of the situation.
I would therfore like to request and urge, each and every citizen with the ability to obtain a UN nation, to please do so, and enlist for the purposes of this operation. Should you wish to join the Army, contact PoD Gunner or Meridianland. Your service would not only bring immense glory and honour to your region, but serve as a great benefit to all regions.
