I sent out a message late last week asking who was now in charge of this, as I believe Recruiting has changed hands but I never heard who had been given the proverbial reins.  I will take it upon myself to stick my nose into things and post here again when I receive a response.  :)

Hm?

Well part of it has been that we haven't been able to mask new recruiters anyway; I've been trying to get a hold of Elu so we can alter things so we can do so ourselves. Though, since Limi is back we should be able to do that once more come to think of it.

In a couple of days I'll have been in the region long enough to meet the prerequisites for recruiting. I have experience as I worked in the Immigration office of the region I used to be in- and even won an award for creating a film contest for recruitment messages...
some questions; apart from the above mentioned 'who's running the IMM show around here?', is there a place where lists of telegrammed nations is kept?
and,
is anyone familiar with tag teaming?

the telegramming is done through a script Elu created that creates a list of all new nations that have yet to be telegramed. When you go in and telegram a nation they are removed from the list

Elu taught me how to give people the masking in the script but my first try ended in complete failure. Since then I have found a different way to access and change values in the database and what I have so far has been successful

err um....so should I assume that my application to recruit has been denied? I mean, it's swell to learn that there is system and method used, but that hardly let's me know if I can be of any assistance.

In another thread (the exec. offices, I believe) I was told that Eluvatar continues to run the immigration dept, although he hasn't posted for a month or so. I guess I'll just twiddle my thumbs.

Has the Immigration situation been figured out yet? I think I've been here well over two weeks, so I'll re-apply :)

sudanor, I've masked you to see the "recruitment headquarters" subforum. Please read the pinned topics and PM me afterwards and I'll give you the next set of instructions.

North-West Woodside, I'm holding off on your application until you get more posts. When you become more familiar with the region I'll PM you and mask you to see the "recruitment headquarters" subforum.

Do I need to post here as well if I wish to recruit (considering the conversations on the other thread)?  If so, here I am... ;D
"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
