Political Unrest in Talstadt

Due to the start of the war in Llandern Dysaniian and Southern Ryazanian troops, the government of Talstadt has been debating on which side they should take.
"We should help our socialist brothers!" exclaims Hans Beruff. "We've been helped by them numerous times. Our neighbor is Socialist, bei Jove!"
"Don't listen to that Socialist mongrel," says leader of the Capitalists, Mikeal Schlangdorf. "I support the Dysaniian Army, and I think that we should help them drive out those crazy communists. And besides, it's about time they had some support. 7 to 1? With that kind of odds, it's bound to happen that the UASS will kill innocent civilians in Southern Ryazania, and likely Dysanii as well!"
Adolf Schlagt, of the Royalist Partei, the just barely leading party, stood to say, "Quiet, both of you. I believe that Talstadt should not involve itself with either side of this war. I feel that the König will side with me when I say that we cannot afford to burn bridges with anybody, Capitalist or Communist. Thank you."
As Herr Schlagt sat, the room was filled with commotion yet again, insults being thrown across the room by both sides. This reporter only hopes that the issue will be resolved and Talstadt's government will once again return to its calmer, quieter state.

In urban centres around Chinese Loyalist, mourning has take place to remember and honour the deaths of Loyalist soldier that had die in the recent war. Every flag in the country was place on half mast and families of love ones gone cry for their fallen sons. A one hundred thousand candle light moment of silence took place last night in the capital of Anyia. Afterwards, the Chancellor issue his speech on the events of the last several days.
"
We had gain great victory...at the price of great bloodshed,
many of you have lost your sons,
sons who died under the banner of bravery and sacrifice,
fighting on the word of their duty and their honour,
and to rest forever in their graves as heroes in the hearts of all...

we must never let the memories of these brave soldiers fade away into the dust of history,
but carry on the stories of their deeds and duty.
A soldier pledge his life to the rigors of soldiery and the service of the state...
the greatest sacrifice a citizen can give to his country...and hence deserves the greatest honour possible, that of eternal glory and remembrance.

To all those that fell on the battlefield,
Let them rest in peace,
but live in legend.
"

Elsewhere during mourning, anti-Dysannian rallies broke out across the rural areas. Villagers held up signs and chantting  "Di San Ni, da Dysanni! Di San Ni, da Dysanni! Di San Ni, da Dysanni!...", roughly translating to "Beat to death, the Dysanni" (apparently, the pronunciation of Dysanni sounds similar to the phrase "Beat you to death" in Chinese.) The anger apparently stem from the old tradition of siblings avenging the death of their brothers and sisters against their killers. There has been a influx of rural volunteer recruits as a result. State police has send out units to control these rallies and rehabilitate the families affected.

In light of the tragic deaths of Loyalist soldiers oversea, the Chancellor had vouch to no send any troops into Dysanni Ryzannia itself.

"We have fought and defended our ally and repulse the enemy from their lands,...I see no reason why more Loyalist citizens must die in this war," the Chancellor stated in a press conference.

In Talstadt today, there was outcry from the government about the formation of the new government of the former South Ryazanian people. Konig Samuel Gottlieb had this to say:
"My fellow Talmanner, I am deeply disturbed by this new government. Not just from a political level, but possibly on a personal level as well. I will admit to you that we have been tracking this William Schmidt for some time. He dissappeared about 2 and 1/2 months ago, and had been frantically looking for him. Why? Because we believe him to be the leader of a terrorist group. Not just any terrorist group, mind you, but a group of individuals that fought against Talstadt in it's civil war. And William Schmidt? We believe him to be a Wilhelm von Schiffmann, the very individual who, 10 years ago, attempted to take my life. He was a shrewd man, not stopping until he had what he wanted, and we thought we stopped him when the castle collapsed on him. But now evidence shows that this is likely our man, taking over a country with little resistance is hard to do, though we expect he had more than was found. So I urge every one of you, not just Talmanner, but all our friends across the continent and overseas to take caution against this new nation. That is all, no questions, please."

It was apparent to this reporter that the Konig was visibly disturbed by this occurence, and noted that his eyes had bags, evidence of lack of sleep. The government of Talstadt has declared this topic top priority and has vowed to investigate.

Xyraeli State Press Release

The above are images taken from San Francisco, where earlier this week Pax Imperium forces turned heavy ordinance on high population density areas in the American state of California. This is a crime against humanity, with thousands deadand many more wounded, scarred and disabled for life. The Democratic States of America have previously taken such actions against Southerners within their own nation, but according to international law a nation may take any action necessary to maintain order within it's sovereign lands, and the State of Xyrael does not view such actions, however vile, as enough to warrant the full mobilization of Pax Imperium forces and conquest of her lands.

As Sovereign Dixie has yet to be recognized by 2/3 of the world, it is not yet a legitimate nation, and therefore it may be seen as acting in a manner befitting terrorists by allying with powers who would use brute force to terrorize the Northern peoples into submission.

A defensive war is fought to establish and maintain sovereignty over ones own nation. Sovereign Dixie does not have a legitimate claim over the North. Therefore Sovereign Dixie may very well be fighting a defensive war, but the conquest of the DSA by Pax Imperium should be viewed as highly aggressive and illegitimate. For Sovereign Dixie and Pax Imperium to impose their government over the free peoples of the DSA is to betray what the Southerners would have their country stand for: truth, justice, equality, democracy.
I have become, again and again.

Here are two pictures of what the so called "responsible American government" would do against the people of the South. The first is Sherman's March to the Sea, in which countless Southern civilians were killed, and Southron cities burned to the ground when the Federal government supposedly just wanted the Southern states to rejoin the Union. If the responsible, peaceful government of America has no qualms about burning cities to the ground, how do we know the same thing won't happen if the Confederates lose the Second War of Secession?

The second picture is that of what the supposedly non-racist, equality-wanting American government allowed. If the Federal government really wanted the '50s South to stop being racist, why did they allow this to go on? Even a bureaucratic morass like the DSA wouldn't take this long to outlaw segregation.

So who's in the right? The North, which abuses their Southern brothers and allowed them to continue to be racist during the 1950s, or the now equal and non-segregated South, which wishes to leave the Union and try their own hand in world politics?

The Provisional Government of Loyalist adopts a new flag today after a week long project in collaboration with designers. The new flag was reveal today , when it was raised during a ceremony opening the new office of the PGL in San Anyia. Officials believe that the new flag is a better representation of the current Loyalist identity.
