Dysaniians, Unite
Chairman Murphy has hit out at claims made my Canadian news programs. After a broadcast was made about the creation of a 'Kingdom of Acadia', the report stated, 'The referendum held all over the Acadian states and the isle in Dysanii showed that over half the people want to become an independent kingdom as well as join the newly-created Pan-Canadian Federation that has sprouted up.'
Murphy has made his concerns public of the validity of these generous Canadian statistics, "I cannot believe that half a population that supported an aggressive action against Canada would join such a Federation." He also makes note of the 'support' for the Kingdom, "It is clear to see that the Canadian 'Empire' is as fake and backwards as the former Republic," and that he finds it "difficult to assume that a population of nationalistic and proud citizens would give their wholesome support for joining some useless Federation governed by an opppressive imperialist 19th Century nation." (a reference to the state control of the monarchy).
Indeed, the many Dysaniian citizens we interviewed, especially on the Isle of Munster, had little to say for the 'Kingdom of Acadia'. Many struggle with the comprehension that a Kingdom could arise without a Monarchy, and when asked many identified themselves as 'Dysaniian' and not 'Acadian'. We here at The Aemilian Volunteer must question how in touch the Canadian government are with the events occurring around them. We have received tips from various Dysaniian 'organisations' that Canadian troops are turning a blind eye to weapons runs for the right price and that since the war the actual man power employed by the Canadian Empire in the Western regions is thin; we are positive that Mr. Murphy and his government will push supporters of the Free State on the Isle of Munster in to an armed uprising with smuggled weapons, and that the National Army will be used in conjunction with this to severely weaken control over the Isle and make it the stepping stone of a Free State for the Dysaniian people - quite, Chairman Murphy assures us that an 'Acadian' state will be sympathetic to the Free State of Aemilius and if not, that any Dysaniian armed force it mounts will flock to the National Army.
