I've been thinking. The map is fairly new right? So a lot of it is unexplored and ungenerated. So when 1.7 comes out we shouldn't need a new map because a lot of our current map is unexplored. IF however the map is explored, then I'm ok with just waiting, however I think as of currently it's still going to be a bit of a wait.
