Involvement of the IPO in the Valhene affair
« on: December 07, 2007, 08:40:23 PM »
Also i ask you gentleman that you propose ideas.
And I will not accept the notion of "terrorists" without solid proof.

Here again are the proposals made for possible terms.
I deleted one part. Maybe it is more to your liking now.

The IPO will take over the roadblocks and searches together with the Dysanii police force members as liaison and contact to the civilian populace. Their officers need not be armed as they will be protected by IPO peace keepers.
Only IPO personal from countries not involved in this war will be deployed.

As soldiers have proven to be of rather doubtful use in these matters I will ask the Terrangan gouverment and those of other nations to send members of Military and civilian police units instead.

Soldiers will be deployed only during disarmament of the Dysanii nation with the troop strength reduced to pre-war peace time levels.

Also the interim governments issue will be to put up ballot for independence which will be organized and controlled together with IPO observers as well as take up talks with Canada who will be involved in this matter.

EDIT

ooc No other nations can not proof terrorism by playing it out themselves.

What? How can anyone prove anything without rping it out? You can't dictate the rules of rp here.ooc>

There are already IPO soldiers in the country, and we can just as easily send police.

At this point, I think it's futile to get you to to understand things for how they are. You've been taking the word of this one person over everyone else's this entire time. If you had officials there, you would see that only a radical minority wants independence. But again, it's futile to get you to comprehend what is obvious.

And despite what Vassa and a few others may want people to think, the law we are enforcing is NOT our own, it is Dysanii law.

The AC is doing what the IPO failed to do. We are trying to bring peace to the continent. Cutting Dysanii up into a dozen nations just to please a few minorities will only invite more wars and more needless bloodshed.

Sorry misunderstanding. What I meant is that I think it quite unfair that you just declare the Dysanii terrorists and play it out themselves.
If Loyan is playing for Dysanii then he should play the terrorists.
Otherwise I could just jump in and RP your men disobeying your orders and joining sides with the "Rebels"
That would however be not fair either.

As far as I knew, he wasn't doing it for Dysanii. It doesn't make sense that any of this happens either, and I don't recall him ever giving a reason for wanting independence.

If this doesn't make sense to you all then why not just ignore his claim? And wouldn't Dysanii already have said something about this. He was on line at least once if I recall correctly. It would also be nice if I were not always left out in the cold about what is going on behind the scenes. I am quite tired of being the fool of PM arrangements.

Based on his comments in the OOC topic, I was under the impression Dys didn't really give a damn about what happened and decided to just let us do however we pleased :-\ . I seem to recall him saying something to that effect. He hasn't said that he agreed with what Loyan is doing or not though.
And I am semi-ignoring his claim by later on claiming that Valhene independence is not his aim, since it makes no logical sense for so many people to want it in a country as nationalistic as Dysanii. We need SOME kind of insurgents there to make things interesting after all, might as well be him since everyone else is semi-going along with it. I won't present anything that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that what I'm accusing him of is his aim, so it could go either way.

ooc: On the contrary, Dysanii has future plans for his nation. We have PM each other about, this he approves of me setting up an independent state out from Valhene, for the short duration that is. I can not reveal our plans for plot reasons. Just sit back and enjoy the show.

Because of the Valhene incident delegate Talman Yar finds himself unable to continue his work for IPO.
He will thus stand down from his position.
However he will remain placed at his post until his replacement is selected and had time to accommodate himself to his new field of work.
A vitae will be presented to IPO administration if a new delegate is found.
