It makes sense to say Taijituan, as opposed to anything else.

Then again, taiji also is pretty cool for shorthand :P

actualy when i said agreed i meant that Taijitan rolls off the tongue. taijituan just insists upon itself too much.

Exactly.  It's easy to stumble while saying Taijituan; Taijitan (and Taiji) are just more pleasurable.
