General Lawin got the message from the Dysanii forces and laughed.

"I believe I overestimated their capabilities!"

He then turned to a sergeant:

"Sergeant, are the rocket launchers ready?"

"Yes sir, all ready."

"I want a rocket and artillery bombardment of Dysanii positions tonight!"

"Yes sir."

occ: I see Llanydern didn't follow my instructions...

Operation Comasere

Operation Comasere, the file name for Yaolin's defense plan in the situation of a shore takeover. Thankfully, the Dysanii forces were small.

Accord to the plan, the shore guns were to be kept quiet, and allow enemy landing craft to move in. This would keep damage to Yaolin's pristine naval facilities to a minimal from enemy bombardment. However, scatter mines took out a number of Dassie ships that strewn too close to the shoreline.

Seven sailing vessels, disguised as civilians manage to make it close enough to launch their hidden cache of Brahmos cruise missiles, taking out the Dassie aircraft carrier and several cruisers.

Local militia, numbering around 135 000, surrounded the Dassie LZ, hiding inside the thick sparse jungles and around nearby hills. Sniper teams took out patrol from the LZ.

Loyalist divisions numbering 20 000 from Anyia and Gandao arrived to Yaolin by midnight. They set up a counter base 7 km from the Dysanii LZ. Dassie planes had made attempt to take out the railway network, but tracked S-300 SAMs took out them before they could destroy a section with their ordinances.

Outnumbered, Operation Comasere made quick work of the Dysanii ground forces. LAW special ops made their debut by coordinating artillery bombardment on the base's air defenses. Free from SAMs, Su-29s took a large portion of the LZ with laser guided munitions. From there, Loyalist forces enveloped the LZ and made a joint three prong attack on the LZ. Hind squadrons from Gandao supported the assault. In four hours, the LZ fell to Loyalist forces. Officers were taken prisoner and POWs were sent to Gandao for interrogation and execution.

The fleet wasn't spare either. After heavy fighting with the superior flotilla of Dassie, Strike Fleet One was order to retreat to Na Sui for repairs. The remaining of the ships were left to the Loyalist Air Arms. Jamming stations were set up on shores and J-17s made attacks on Dassie warships with C-802 ASM missiles and Radiation Homing munitions. Support ships were a top target priority. Makeshift mobile launchers from shore fired cheap Silkworm-grade missiles on mass at the flotilla at an range. They were aim with little concern to accuracy, and some of them even lacked warheads. Around ten thousand of these "flukes" were launch, many of them missed their targets or were destroy by the AEGIS systems on board Dysanii warships. Their purpose...was not to cause damage, but to waste the dwindling AEGIS ammunition of the Dysanii warships and to overload the AEGIS tracking system for more lethal C-802s mix into the mass fire. One Dysanii cruiser manage to survive fifty-six Silkworms launched at it before falling to two C-802 ASM when it ran out of rounds for it's Phalanx systems. Far away from friendly territories and with their support ships mercilessly sunk, the Dysanii flotilla fell to starvation from lack of munition and fuel, in addition to constant attacks by LAA aircraft and mass Silkworm launches. A revived Strike Fleet One mopped up the remaining ships.

General Rodes sighed as he looked over the map. Dust flew from the ceiling as another bomb went off above. The line was broken. Millions of men, both from Dysanii and Llanydern, had died, for what? The sell-out to Myroria hadn't exactly boosted morale, either.

One thing he was greatful for, however, was that the mother country was untoched by the ravanges of war. The northwest of Llanydern looked like hell-on-Earth, mud, bodies, destruction...there was no solitude here. No rules. Only war. A war that was well, and truely, lost. He rubbed his forehead, then turned to a young corporal behind him. "Richards, send out a general order; all troops are to surrender to the UASS." He picked up the orders from the military command, orders which stated the line should still be manned, and lit them with a lighter. "Fuck your orders."

---

Within hours, millions of grimy, gaunt men emerged from the defensive fortifications along the line, guns raised above their heads. However, the colours of each army were transported to Metz Minor by air - some honour had to be maintained. Soon after this, orders from the military command were sent to UASS forces, officially informing them of the surrender of the southern ryazanian armies.

Saletsian jets took notice of the surrendering enemies.

"Engage target!"

"Wait!"

"What's wrong?"

"They're not attacking...seems as if the were.."

"Surrendering?"

"Yeah!"

"And we didn't even see any action!"

"Air-base L1, this is wing commander Arturio."

"Wing-commander Arturio, this is Air-base L1, what can we do for you?"

"Dysanii's forces are surrendering..."

"Please repeat."

"Dysanii's forces are surrendering!"

"Very well then, continue your flights...we will inform General Lawin."

"Roger that!"

Minutes later a phone rang in a bunker.

"Yeah?"

"General Lawin, sir?"

"Speaking.."

"We got information that Dysanii's ground forces are surrendering."

"What?!"

"Yes sir surrendering..."

"Victory then...Okay, I want attack choppers to secure the area. I'll send tanks and all the other stuff to escort those soldiers...I want air-superiority and total security, understood?"

"Yes sir, copy that."

Two hours later, Saletsian ground forces accompanied by air-assets moved towards the border to Southern-Ryazania to disarm the surrendering soldiers.
Tanks, machine-guns, SAMs were put into position and defensive lines were drawn to avoid any bad surprises.

Then at the sight of the first surrendering soldiers, General Lawin got a megaphone:
"This is General Lawin of the Saletsian UASS forces. We have marked 4 perimeters with the first two having blue containers and the last two yellow ones: you should go to the blue containers first and unload your guns, then move to the yellow containers and leave your empty guns in there. A red containers is beside the one yellow container for every other weapon."

He waited...then went on

"I would like to have your commanding officers come here...unarmed of course."

A Loyalist Army force of 600 000 regulars spearheads though the southwest border of Dysanii Ryaz, cover by LAA aircraft that assaulted concentrated Dysanii positions. They adopted a Parthian (fall back and engage) tactic in defeating the Dysanii defenses.

Small forces of 10 000 to 30 000 men made feints into Dysanii positions simultaneously, drawing back when met with a Dysanii counterattack. This drew Dysanii forces out of the woodwork and led them southwards into the massed Loyalist rear. The Dysanii forces will find themselves drawn into a envelope of the main Loyalist force, which closed in and slaughtered the counterattack. They repeated this process, resupply from the air and aided by Loyalist Fire Divisions, guerrillas that infiltrated and gather regional intel on terrain and enemy positions several days before.

After clearing the border, the main force was divided into three sections, Section A, B, and C. Section A (300 000 CP) heads towards the port cities of west coast, with Section B (100 000? CP) in the vanguard to cover the flanks from Dysanii counterattacks. Section C (200 000? CP) moved south to shield Section A and B from inland enemy forces. New Su-34s and J-17Cs patrolled the newly gained territories to protect ground forces from air attacks. 20 Super Divisions from Llanydern were moved in to reinforce Section A and B. Combat engineers rushed to construct railroads and airfield to supply the attack forces.

occ: crap, didn't see the retreat order. Oh well...

The Loyalist main force encounter a huge number of surrendering Dysanii troops. They were stripped of their uniform and weapons. A majority of the Dysanii were sent to POW camps set up by Llanydern forces. However, a few disgruntled Loyalist commanders follow their own set of rules.

8th C Division, unknown regiment

Drillmaster: Sir, we stripped them of their weapons and uniform.

Commander: Good...line them up at the ridge, one bullet in the neck for each...

Drillmaster: Understand, Sir.

Surrendering Dysanii soldiers were loaded  on trucks and brought to a Saletsian POW camp where they were treated medically and given food rations. Afterwards they had to work rebuilding areas devastated by the war until further orders were received from Bandana.
The weapons were transported to Saletsian bunkers.

OOC: Since the war's over, I'm just going to RP G-C's troops in the area from now on.

IC: After refitting in Saletsian ports, the G-C fleet left the Easteros Sea the same way it had come.  It would rendezvous with the transports and the ground forces on the eastern shore of the continent.  The Dysanii prisoners that had been taken by those ground forces were escorted back to Dysanii positions and set free.  They then set off for the east, where they would be taken home.

Osmar looked through the reports on the latest events of the war that Ras'ash Gulnah, who had been as promised well rewarded for his paradoxically loyal treachery, and despite his outward appearance of calm and even emotional detachment he could not help but feel the slightest pangs of doubt and worry within himself. This was the first time that Mor'os's new military was being committed to real combat, and it would take a very troubling person to go through such a trial by fire without having some second thoughts and imaginings of just what might go wrong, despite the stunning recommendations on the Ozian equipment that all of his sources had dug up. But as he continued to read, it became apparent that his worries were silly and unfounded things, and that matters were perfectly secure and fine.

"They certainly seem to have crumbled fast..." Osmar commented "This is almost too good for me to accept."

"That's what happened your Divinity," replied Gulnah "The whole of it."

"What about the other soldiers bound for the battle abroad?"

"They seem to have made it in good order, and should be arriving soon enough from what we are hearing. Though..." Gulnah allowed himself a slight smile, "Rumor is that the battle is already drawing to a rather sudden close there as well."

"Really? They struck me as more stubborn than that...but not sense in arguing with good fate."

General Lawin got orders from Bandana to stay in Llanydern and improve the defensive positions, especially along the borders.

He was pledged the following reinforcements:

2 additional armies
50 additional helicopters
additional towed howitzers
additional rocket launchers
bombs with chemical and biological agents
MOABs

32 C-130 Hercules, containing 2,048 paratroopers in all flew toward the colony of Southern Ryazania. Guarding them were 64 fighter jets, including Raptors, Nighthawks, and Fighting Falcons. As they flew west toward Easteros, below them was a fleet of transport craft and aircraft carriers quickly set out to act as enormous troop transports. In the fleet was a total of 60,000 troops, the majority of which were shoved on aircraft carriers with a cot and some food. Guarding the enormous fleet were some destroyers, cruisers, and two small aircraft carriers actually used for their original purpose. After the diplomatic fiasco that was the Southern Ryazanian negotiations, it was needed that Southern Ryazania (or Greater Ryazania, as Meneldur planned it would be once things cooled down) be populated - fast. Right now all there was were some hunters and the occasional retired Dysanii soldier there. Intelligence indicated there was a fleet east of Easteros - the Myrorians would go north until the top part of it was at the bottom of their RADAR screens. The planes were high - near the top of the Hercules' service ceiling - so hopefully they could pass without incident.

Seeing the Dysanii ships below start to turn back east, the golden dragons witheld their fire but stayed in the air, just in case, until their fuel was running low enough to force them back to base.
The diesel-electric submarines of the 2nd Mor'osi wolf pack also followed the Dysanii ships at a respectful distance until they were out of range of the land based radars.

OOC: Sorry about the rather abrupt surrender guys. Had I had more time, I would've continued with the other invasions and elaborated on the terrorist story Talmann is working on. It was a fun role play!
