A submarine detected the Vakourian vessels and alarmed the RFS Digmaan...the admiral though explained an agreement had been met with the Varkourian government:

The first reinforcements have arrived from Varkour.
Now there are 600 troops, 15 tanks and 5 helicopters.

Their mission is the following:
  • Build defences
  • Build a military airport

Filipino snipers have been closely obseving the Varkourian project.
Meanwhile the military base and its defense and radar systems were finished. More and more troops were coming from the homeland and the air-base was almost completely finished... Helicopters continued flying patrols to secure the borders of the Ginto Claim...
The work with the natives teaching them the Filipino progress was also making good progress since the natives proved themselves as a fast-learning people... A native contingent of 300 men were being trained by the military to be the first members of the Filipino colonial force.
So far 12 MiG-29OVTs have been transported to Ginto...

It would appear that you have inadvisably invaded a peninsula that Daimiaena considers under it's protection.....You are interfereing in a delicate geo political situation of which you can have no understanding......I suggest you immediately remove your people from this territory.....If you wish to enter into diplomatic talks concerning this matter please refer to our ministry of external affairs.....Though I would state quite clearly for the record no diplomatic solution will be considered as long as you have troops stationed in our protectorate......

It has come to attention of The Board of potential conflict regarding your terristial claim.  We are aware of your people being the first to arrive and thus The Board supports your claim.  However, as our protectorate we advise that a peaceful solution be found.  Our diplomatic advisors will keep us informed of your progress.

Varkourian troops wave at the Filipino helicopters as they fly by.

The kingdom of Islas Filipinas shall not remove its troops from the peninsula known to us as the "Ginto Claim". We have reached agreements with the natives and they accept us as their new rulers. We have so far not seen nor heard of any Daimiaenans in this part of Taijitu, hence we do not recognize your claim of protection. Further talks can be undertaken if you send a representative to Ginto where Governor-General Talon represents the Filipino kingdom.

The royal government is doing all it can to solve this issue peacefully.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile the air-base had been completed and the Filipino Mig-29OVTs were ready to conduct patrol flights...a number of Scorpion light tanks, Ozelots and more choppers were also sent to the "Ginot Claim" to scure the interests of the kingdom...The choppers flying by the Varkourian claim also had tehir pilots waving at the Varkourians beneath them.

A helicopter was sent to the Varkourian claim that would escort General Dupont to the RFS Digmaan where Governor-General Talon was at.

General Dupont leaves Commander Evianes in charge and gets into the helicopter.
He arrives on the RFS Digmaan and is impressed.
He walks slowly up to Governor-General Talon and shakes his hand.

GG Talon shakes General Dupont's hand:

"Good Day, General. Welcome on board the RFS Digmaan. Please follow me."

He leads the way into a cabine with formally arranged chairs and a table.
Both took a seat.

"How may I help you?"

General Dupont takes off his hat.
"Intelligence has told me that the Government in Daimaien does not like our presence on the Ginto peninsula and that they have contacted your Government. Will this situation be dealt with peacefully?"

He takes a sip of water and continues.
"If not, I have been informed by my Government to fight along side you and defend the Ginto peninsula."

"Thank you for your offer General. The Supremo wishes to have this issue solved peacefully though. However Daimiaena wants us to pull out troops which is not acceptable, hence we will be boosting our defense systems."

"We do not know much about this nation but we know we have less manpower but a better currency and higher defense budget."
