It was 9am, when Minister Raúl came into the palace. He went directly into the audience room passing several guards. Passing two great doors, he now entered the Great Audience Hall. The hall had great windows left and right letting sunshine brighten most of it. At the end though, is a darker, separated section of the hall, separated by bullet-proof glass. There, on a high throne, with the Filipino flags left and right, the Supremo, the supreme leader of the kingdom, sat.
Raúl then knelt down on a carpet in front of the throne and touched the carpet with his forehed, waiting for the Supremo to talk.
"Good day Minister Raúl, you may rise."
Raúl stands up with his head tilted down and then speaks:
"Supremo, archaelogists have found an old castle of your family's line. They have reported to have found old statues, some gold bars and the old "emerald crown" (OOC: no it's nto made of emeralds)."
"This is very good news, Minister Raúl but you seem to be nervous. Why?"
"It is because the ruins are in the territory of an old Moro tribe. They say everything there was their possession."
"And what did you do?"
"We continued working and of course got the crown. Two archaeologists are missing, though."
"Missing?"
"Yes, they disappeared on the second night. Their tents were clean. The locals speak of the curse of the Moro."
"There are no such things as curses. Send a search and rescue team and also guards to assure the safety of the archaeologists. I would like to have the crown."
"As you wish, Supremo, ruler and protector of Islas Filipinas."
Raúl went backwards and with his head tilted down until he reached the doors, then turned around and went on to fulfill the orders of the Supremo.
-
After a week, soldiers of the Royal Army had seized the crown and found the bodies of the missing archaeologists that were shot to death and decapitated.
Short after the soldiers arrived in the capital Theodora, the Supremo declared the possession of firearms illegal and anyone who disobeyed the Supremo may be tried for treason and be jailed or executed or sent to a workng camp.
Political parties and organizations were banned. Other than that though, life was as usual and peaceful.

Exploration
On Monday, the 22nd of January three type 212 submarines and a Wasp Class AAS of the Royal Filipino Navy were launched to a certain destination. They're order was to create a small trading post and also look for rare plants used for the development of other bio-fuels.
-
After some time, the exploration naval group finally reached its destination, a tropical peninsula near Daimiaena.
On board the RFS Digmaan, a Wasp Class AAS, Admiral Juan Levanto was giving orders to secure the peninsula and begin the landing:
"Send three hueys to check the land and I want a group of 25 soldiers to land immediately and have a secured sector of 3km diameter!"
"Aye admiral."
"And tell Governor-General Talon, we are at our destination!"
"As you wish, Admiral!"
Immediately, 5 choppers took off headed to the land, to conduct the admiral's orders. Meanwhile the Type 212 submarines secured tha area around the RFS Digmaan.
-
"RFS Digmaan, this is flyboy 1! We have sighted several native housings and people...awaiting orders."
"Flyboy 1, this is RFS Digmaan, are the natives armed?"
"Some have bows and spears but no firearms."
"Okay, continue flight mission. Landing group Alpha is on the way."
"Aye sir, over and out."
After the transmission two choppers landed at the coast with 25 marines.
Major Pilak was leading the "landing group Alpha". They went further into mainland and secured the are they were assigned to.
After about 16 minutes on foreign land, the marines encountered natives armed with spears and bows. The natives went closer and teh marines pointed their M5s at the natives...noticing this the natives halted and drew their weapons. Suddenly there was a moment of silence. Major Pilak then contacted the RFS Digmaan:
"Admiral, we have encountered natives! What should we do?"
"Do you have anything to give to them to prove we have no evil intentions?"
"I only have chocolate bars, Admiral."
"Perfect. Lower your weapons and give it to them."
"Aye sir."
Major Pilak ordered his men to lower weapons. He then approached the natives with his arms reaching out some chocolate bars...The natives first moved back but eventually one of them took a bar and smelled it...Major Pilak demonstrated how to open and consume the item, the native did as shown and was delighted by the good taste...The native then turned very excited and had his fellowmen taste the bar, after some seconds, they too lowered their weapons and approached the marines without hostile feelings.
-
When the marines reached the native village, they saw devastation.
Major Pilak was alarmed and wondered what happened. After seeing different bodies of warriors dressed in a different way than the natives who were friendly to them, he understood the situation. It was tribal warfare.--amongst the dead of the said natives were women and children. The marines medic rushed to the wounded and helped them.
"RFS Digmaan, we have a tribal warfare going on here."
"We need the secured perimeter, Major Pilak."
"Aye sir, I am sending two units of 6 men each on patrol."
"We shall start sending our pioneers. Any more requests?"
"Bring some doctors with you."
"Roger that."
"Over and out."
Two units of 6 men each were then sent on patrol by Major Pilak.
Meanwhile 4 ships with more soldiers, workers, pioneers and materials were en route ot "destination X" (where the RFS Digmaan is).
After 2 hours the first pioneers accompanied by more soldiers landed and started clearing an are where they would built a camp...
-
While on a patrol a marine unit got attacked by the hostile bushmen, know as the "Kurot". A private got hit by two arrows, one on the leg and one on the left arm...the marines opened fire immediately and killed lots of the Kurots but it seemed they were well prepared, eventhough poorly eqipped with bows and arrows, swords and spears.
"Major Pilak, we are under attack!"
"By whom?"
"By natives who cry "Kurot".
"Kurot?"
After having said this, Major Pilaknoticed how the natives standing around him who heard the word turned angry.
"Can't you finish them all?"
"Negative, they're coming from everywhere and they keep coming!"
"Hold on! Air-support is on the way!"
("Flyboy 1 this is Major Pilak, Unit Alpha is under heavy attack by natives, requesting immediate fire-support at secto 1|26"
"Copy that, Major, we are on the way!")
"Help is on the way!"
"Thank you sir!"
4 minutes later flyboy 1 reached its destination.
Haha this is gonna be fun The choppers fired its minigun at the natives who fell by the dozens...several seconds after recognizing the immense firepower of their opponents, the natives fled into the jungle.
The wounded private was transported via helicopter to the field hospital.
-
The sound of a hundred very angry mosquitos could be heard towards the east......Heading in at tree top level were 2 gunships and two troopships.....High powered and heavily armed helicopters......they hovered over the village.....One of the troopships dropped four lines....down which four troopers dressed in tigerstripe camos abseiled.....
When they landed they looked around for anyone in charge.....
-
Major Pilak ordered his men to get ready for combat and alarmed the Admiral right away. He then turned to the foreigners:
"Identify yourselves!"
-
"Actually that was exactly what I was gonna ask you guys....." Replied the front trooper..."We are from Daimiaena...and you???"
-
"We are royal amrines from Islas Filipinas. I reckon this is now being placed under our sovereignty and is not part of Daimiaena, so what is your business here?"
-
"Islas Filipinas??? Okay....Your government will hear from ours....let's get out of here.."He and the other troops turned around and attached motor winches from their belts to the lines from the chopper and were soon zipping back up to the troopship.....
Then the airmobile force headed off to the east....
-
Meanwhile reports were transmitted to the RFS Digmaan assigning a submarine to patrol the Eastern waters of the peninsula. With more and more supply ships coming, pioneers started to clear an area for a military air-base. meanwhile 10 Bionix II IFVs had been unloaded, as well as 3 Ozelots. Marines also set up a communication command center and some outposts as well as a radar station.
-
Afterer soem time more and more supply ships had arrived in destination X. The military base was almost finished and the works for an air-field was on the way...the first roads were also being made by pioneers to allied tribes...while helicopter gunships sttacked the "Kurot" tribe...
Major Pilak and his men were sent some pinoeers who built a school for the natives where they were taught Filipino, the language of the kingdom.

125 Varkourian soldiers are sent to the peninsula by small boats. Their mission is to secure the designated area on the map and wait for reinforcements from Varkour.
-
A submarine detected the Vakourian vessels and alarmed the RFS Digmaan...the admiral though explained an agreement had been met with the Varkourian government:
-
The first reinforcements have arrived from Varkour.
Now there are 600 troops, 15 tanks and 5 helicopters.
Their mission is the following:
- Build defences
- Build a military airport
-
Filipino snipers have been closely obseving the Varkourian project.
Meanwhile the military base and its defense and radar systems were finished. More and more troops were coming from the homeland and the air-base was almost completely finished... Helicopters continued flying patrols to secure the borders of the Ginto Claim...
The work with the natives teaching them the Filipino progress was also making good progress since the natives proved themselves as a fast-learning people... A native contingent of 300 men were being trained by the military to be the first members of the Filipino colonial force.
So far 12 MiG-29OVTs have been transported to Ginto...

To:- The Government of Islas Filipinas.....
It would appear that you have inadvisably invaded a peninsula that Daimiaena considers under it's protection.....You are interfereing in a delicate geo political situation of which you can have no understanding......I suggest you immediately remove your people from this territory.....If you wish to enter into diplomatic talks concerning this matter please refer to our ministry of external affairs.....Though I would state quite clearly for the record no diplomatic solution will be considered as long as you have troops stationed in our protectorate......

From: Peter Bautista, Minister of Foreign Affairs
The kingdom of Islas Filipinas shall not remove its troops from the peninsula known to us as the "Ginto Claim". We have reached agreements with the natives and they accept us as their new rulers. We have so far not seen nor heard of any Daimiaenans in this part of Taijitu, hence we do not recognize your claim of protection. Further talks can be undertaken if you send a representative to Ginto where Governor-General Talon represents the Filipino kingdom.

A helicopter was sent to the Varkourian claim that would escort General Dupont to the RFS Digmaan where Governor-General Talon was at.
-
General Dupont leaves Commander Evianes in charge and gets into the helicopter.
He arrives on the RFS Digmaan and is impressed.
He walks slowly up to Governor-General Talon and shakes his hand.
-
GG Talon shakes General Dupont's hand:
"Good Day, General. Welcome on board the RFS Digmaan. Please follow me."
He leads the way into a cabine with formally arranged chairs and a table.
Both took a seat.
"How may I help you?"
-
General Dupont takes off his hat.
"Intelligence has told me that the Government in Daimaien does not like our presence on the Ginto peninsula and that they have contacted your Government. Will this situation be dealt with peacefully?"
He takes a sip of water and continues.
"If not, I have been informed by my Government to fight along side you and defend the Ginto peninsula."
-
"Thank you for your offer General. The Supremo wishes to have this issue solved peacefully though. However Daimiaena wants us to pull out troops which is not acceptable, hence we will be boosting our defense systems."
-
"My Government in Varkour has not yet recieved any messages from Daimaien, but we expect to boost our defences in a few days."
"What do you know of Daimaien?"
-
"We do not know much about this nation but we know we have less manpower but a better currency and higher defense budget."
-
"They would not dare to attack a protectorate under the Allied States?!"
-
"I do not know, but we want to avoid a conflict...it may turn out bad...but with our higher defense finances, we cannot lose such a conflict."
OOC: DAIMIAENA can you give some infos on your military?
-
"Okay. Thank you for your time. I must return to Fort Dupont and report to HQ in Vusun."
The General stands up and puts his hat back on.
"Feel free to visit Fort Dupont. Good bye."
-
"Goodbye."
The Governor-General sent request for 5 Kongo Class Aegis Destroyers and another 2 Type 212 submarines which departed Filipino naval bases after 3 hours.

To:-The Government of Islas Filipinas......
As far as we can ascertain not only have you refused to remove your trroops from our protecterate you have also elected to decimate certain tribes in the area.....What possible justification do you have to massacre the innnocent natives of these lands???......We are also now aware that certain other countries are now following your example of rampant inperialism...this will not be tolerated.......Regardless of whether you have found evidence of Daimiaens in the area you invaded......this area of land was under the protection of Daimiaena......
We again ask you to remove your troops from the area and to enter diplomatic talks with our ministry of external affairs.....

Minister of External Affairs,
Myroria has been eyeing the situation in the peninsula near your nation-state for a bit now. We support elements of both sides of the argument; we feel a duty to help our Catholic brothers in Islas Filipinas, but we at the same time support your call for the ceasion of the anti-native acts that you accusate have been committed by the said nation. The Theocratic Kingdom will continue to watch the situation closely before making any official stance on the matter.

The kingdom is not partaking in any ventures od ethnic cleansing but rather protected allied, peaceful tribes against local warlords who in turn used to kill innocent natives of weaker tribes. They have also started to launch attacks on Filipino military personnel which had to lead to a proper reaction. Only hostile warriors have been fought against, not innocent civilians. You may send an observer if you wish.

Bureau of international affairs
intelligence Hub- E.Y.E Module
Brother Gabriel barged into the intelligence hub in a frenzy, pouring over maps and papers amidst the blinking lights and switches of the EYE module, where Brother Grayson and several others sat, transfixed.
"are you viewing Ginto brothers? asked Gabriel...they all nodded in unison. "the king should see this.."
"Brother Grayson?"
"Grayson!"
Brother Grayson snapped to attention, it was rare they didnt call each other by their respective titles.
"Ill patch you through Brother"
Your grace, the Ginto territory is becoming more and more unstable. As per the laws surrounding use of the EYE module, it is required of me to inform you of any surmounting pressures upon our Allies or ourselves, king supreemo of Islas Filipinas, has annexed a plot of land..that is protected by another nation, I will now submit my formal report:
The conflict consists of four nations:
Islas Filipinas: 839 million. Private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry. Massive army, large fortifications on the penninsula of Ginto, not open to diplomacy. (one of our greatest allies), tactics-heavy infantry and navy, airel support available
The peoples Republic of Varkour: 74 million. Democratic socialists, market agriculture driven. fortifications built in Ginto territories. Friendly, open to diplomacy. (a possible canidate of our Protectorate Entente), tactics- Heavy infantry and navy.
Daimiaena: 1.581 billion. Their powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Information Technology and Uranium Mining. possibly hostile but open to diplomacy. (can we trust them?) Tactics- manipulation.
The Ginto Natives: not much is known of the tribes inhabiting the Ginto territory, history tells us that ancestors of the supreemo once inhabited the territory, but the natives genetics are quite different.(possible that desendants derive from Morthia YTBD) It is said warring factions have decimated a large percentage of the population, most able for war have situated themselves amongst the other three nations, the Gintos smell blood in the air, and it may not be far away. small fortifications tactics-geurilla warfare.
It is the thoughts of this seer that if steps are not taken to defuse this explosive conflict, war will be unevidable....we await your official stance on the matter.

Ginto is part of Islas Filipinas and as such, we have every right to station as many troops as we wish in our lands. We offer a diplomatic conference in Tagumpay, Ginto's provincial capital, to solve this issue peacefully.
-
To:-The People's Republic of Varkour .......
Your open and communicative attitude is commendable regarding talks......While we have previously insisted on a withdrawal of troops we now see that your troop numbers are low enough not to be an immediate factor in regards starting talks.....We also understand your need to protect yourselves from the Islas Filipinas troops to your south as they seem to be determined to put themselves on a war footing......Perhaps as part of our talks we could discuss any reinforcements we could provide.....To help consolidate your colony's protection.....Please contact this office in regards beginning immediate talks....We hope to hold the talks in Daimiaena the capital of our country....we can provide either transport and/or escorts to ensure a safe journey.....
Minister of external affairs....Daimiaena......
-
To:-The Government of Islas Filipinas......
As you still refuse to make any kind of statement regarding the acts of ethnic cleansing that have been committed by your troops and are continuing to increase your military presence we are finding it increasingly difficult to justify pursuing diplomatic solutions to this matter....
You appear not to fully comprehend that the Government of Daimiaena has not........currently....... recognised any claim on the part of Islas Filipinas to this part of our protectorate and therefore your continuing occupation and profileration of armed forces cannot be justified in our eyes as being in any way legitimate.....
Also as we do not recognise.....as yet.....any claim to this territory it would be difficult to recognise any regional government and there is no possible way we will consider talks being held in a contested area...particularily given the massive amount of troops present.....

There has been no case of ethnic cleansing in Ginto Province. he only natives that were attacked by Filipino forces were warriors who attacked Filipino marines first or warriors who attacked peaceful and defenseless civilians of allied tribes.
We can also send a representative from the mainland if you wish. We would like to clarify that we are not seeking any armed conflict.

Vusun, Varkour.
"It is unbelievable! We are not going to let strangers take Ginto!" General Beaumont shouted.
Everyone in the room agreed.
"We need the peninsula to defend Varkour from invaders. Why hasn't the commanders at Fort Dupont done anything?! they think they're on flippin' holiday, don't they?!" The general was in disbelief and covered his face with his hand. He muttered something under his breath.
"Well we must do something fast, before its too late." General Beaumont said as he took his hand off his face.
Everyone just stood there and listened. They were almost too scared to talk, because they knew what Beaumont could do when he is in a bad mood.
There was a sudden cough and a man stood forward. He was not afraid like the rest.
"My agents have informed me that the Mercantilist States are planning to expand to the rest of the peninsula." He said.
"How many troops have they got?" Beaumont spat.
"We are not sure at the moment, but the ground force is pinned back by the natives. However I do know that they are sending an additional two fleets to the area."
"Great, we strike them now. We will set up a border and send more troops." The General said.
"How many troops Sir?" a thin man in the corner said.
"Send 10,000 to Fort Dupont and send 20,000 to Fort Paix for back-up."

We would like to inform you that there are Mercantilian citizens and corporations located within your intended expansion area. They are mostly sugar farmers and will not attack you so long as you do not hinder their business, however we will consider hostilities against them hostilities against the Mercantilist States.
The Mercantilist States only lies claim to the islands off the coast of the peninsula and the eastern tip of the peninsula where our city of Ginto is.

I would advise you to keep your settlements on the islands and not expand anymore. Please send a map of the exact location of Ginto.

"Trip aces." Clint Rice said as he flipped over his cards.
Rice was part of the Mercantilist West O Corporate Police Force that had been assigned to guard the Mercantilist West O Company's sugar fields on the northwest coast of the peninsula of the former Ginto province. Since they had cleared the natives out of the area, things had been slow and they were able to enjoy the finer things in life - smokes, brews, and cards.
"You guys hear that the Mercantilist Brewing Co. may be expanding their tobacco production to this area?" Rice said as he took a drink of his Island Pale Ale.
"There's no way anything this far out is going to become part of the States, how are they going to do that?" John Smolten, one of his colleagues and commanding officer, asked.
"Farming."
"Very funny."
"Policy change I've heard."
"You and your fucking inside info. Deal the cards."
Frank Waylan, another colleague who was on watch, bust through the door.
"You guys need to see this."
As they climbed to the top of the watchtower, they looked into the distance and saw thousands of troops and tanks heading their way.
"Well that doesn't look too friendly," Rice said.
"What should we do?" Waylan asked.
"What can we do? I doubt they're coming for sugar," Smolten said. "Let 'em be. Hell, maybe we can sell them some sugar."
They chuckled.
"That's all you my friend," Rice said. "Let's play some cards."
-
In Vusun President Gribeauval was sitting at his desk. He knew he had 10,000 troops near the Mercantilist settlements ready to clear out the area, but now he was not sure if he wanted to use them.
The past week had been hell for him. The national press were pounding down on him and his popularity was down to an embarrassing 39% after the disastrous conflict near Ryazania. He was near the end of his last term and could not wait.
There was a knock at the door and General Deville marched into the room. He shook the President's hand and took his hat off.
"When can we kick the bastards out then?" Deville asked.
"We're not going to. I have decided to let them stay there as they do not pose a threat to Varkour." The President replied.
