Operation: SLFI
« on: July 02, 2007, 04:04:32 AM »
I was sitting in some coffee shop in Confederate Freedom. The place was so bland, nothing to do... and I haven't killed anyone in a while. I got in as a Refuge, a Girian who left with all the Fir who ran from Irnotia to Phelimar. I drank the coffee slowly, it was rather bitter but that didn't matter. I opened my book I was reading with me, some shit book about worker power or something. Didn't really mean much to me, but it would look good to my target. In it it just kept talking about a class war or something, but why would you have a class war if you could just get rich and improve your class. That seemed alot simpler to me but hey some people got other ideas of simple.

From my info my target came around here sometimes, I didn't know how good it was but it would have to do. I need to contact Elliot soon to help me get some stuff for the mission. He had gotten really weird with what he wanted for payment as of late, but that didn't matter he still gave me what I wanted.

I looked around a bit before returning to my book, bunch of guys were checking me out and probably undressing me with their eyes. I laughed knowing how off they probably were with what I looked like underneath, no one ever really guessed the scars right. Hearing the door to the place open I slowly turned a little smile on my face to see who it was...

ooc: this is a semi planned rp, the start of it at least, so please don't just jump in.

OOC: semi-planned.  right.

IC: Viktor had been coming to the Chestnut Tree Cafe for about a week now, after Council meetings and before wandering the streets.  There wasn't much to the place, just four walls, a bar, tables, and an outdoor seating area, but Viktor liked it.  The atmosphere, the lack of many other people helped relieve the stress of the Council.

The sun was setting, and knowing that Dysanii agents could be prowling the streets by night, even with the Confederate Freedom police presence, he stepped out of the cafe, intending to walk back to the embassy.

Alex stood up quickly after she saw Victor her sun dress flowing about her, she hated wearing dresses but it fit better for now. Holding her communist book in her hand she walked up to him, light make up on her face, her hair hanging lose on her let side to mask the scare on that side of her face. She put a nervous smile on her face and spoke up allowing a bit of nervousness and shyness creep into her voice to finish the appearance “Hello... I hope I'm not imposing myself but are you Victor of G-C?”

OOC: blackmail...right.

IC: Viktor had long since gotten used to masking the annoyance he felt at being asked his name.  Such incidents had quieted down the last few months in Confederate Freedom, and the public apparantly had gotten used to seeing him on the street.  There were still the odd few, like this woman, who persisted in the practice.

"I am," he said shortly, passing by her obvious attempts to flirt.  She was attractive, but there was something subtly wrong with her.  Like the way she covered half her face...

He stopped, turning back.  "Why?"

ooc:  O:-)

ic: "I'm sorry to bother you, I'm sure you get asked who you are alot and it probably gets rather old fast."

She shifted the book in her hand to her other side as she gave a weak smile "I was hoping I could talk to you, I'm not from around here if you haven't guessed, I came here from your nation... but that's not my place of birth. I got to G-C from Phelimar... I'm from Irnotia, I fled the nation with the Firians, Im of the Gir tribe i used to work for the government before i ran away. I heard about you and was hoping I would get to meet you. Im sorry if I have bothered you"

She bowed slightly, it felt weird wearing a dress that covered so much but her body had to many scars to make a first meeting work well.

STIA Agent Vereski Calieni Apiav took a good look from the coffee shop. That Irnotian had found her target. This must be the Irnotian that STIA picked up unusual Chatter from. The voice is similar. Vereski was a skilled Agent of the STIA, the Ozian's Espionage Agency and had managed to get "refuge" from the evil Ozians and pretend to be a Moacian, a dead one anyway. His mask was Lars Ja'zhu, a book store owner, the real Lars was captured by STIA back in the days of the war for suspected Revolutionary activities, he and his family were killed in captivity but they are officially considered missing to friends. Like others in STIA who participated in Operation Blue Shadow, he hopped the border as a Moacian Refugee, got a job, and got a house to live in and would be used for his Agent purposes when asked to. With this operation they could travel easily between Communist Countries. He had a weapon, his Pistol that was at home and a knife that he kept within his clothing. He was smoking his Zuavka cigar as it had become accustomed in the area it seemed. He didn't mind it.

As he eyed the two making conversation he noticed how obvious it was of her to be awkward in her dress. He noted every detail from every eye glance he gave them. Before she met her contact it seemed some of the boys around the area eye balled her for her beauty. He found it odd how half her face was covered by hair, and wondered if the wind would reveal something more to her face. Then, how adorable, she reads communist books, those proles must love their women talking about class struggle. Even though he's been in the nation for two years he still didn't understand some of their native romances. Except there was one thing he did understand and it was Moacian Romance which was what he practiced in the area with the other Moacian Refugees. He didn't know who the contact was so he finished up his cigar and put it in the tray. He noticed who her contact immediately was, Viktor of Gallipoli-China's puny council in the area. He had met him before and even once introduced himself to him when he saw him on the streets.

The Ozian flipped his phone trying not to be too noticeable. He tapped the number and awaited the other line to pick up.

He softly spoke in Language L2 and if anyone could pick up what he was muttering he was saying, "Sä'fû že sàßev rûe quí zám pó"

Whoever this woman was, she was acting strangely.  Viktor had noticed that she did not give her name, and her repeated apologies were disconcerting to say the least.  Particularly as they did not sound sincere.  The streets were emptying, people deserting the streets for the comforts of home and Viktor didn't want to be alone with this woman whom he didn't know and probably couldn't trust.  He didn't care what the doctrine was; he wasn't safe, and not all foreigners were benign.

"It's no bother," he said, trying to remain calm.  The only other person in the area was a few blocks down the road, and the idiot was too distracted by his phone conversation to be of any use if this woman proved to be a threat.  "What's your name?" he asked tentatively, "and do you think it wise to remain here at this hour?  Assassination is a real possibility."

ooc: sorry for so long no post

ic: "I know you probably don't feel to safe with a strange woman from a nation. The fact that my nation is Irnotia does not help the matter.  Would it be possible to meet tomorrow at a public location such as a cafe or something to talk. Here is my number, I have things that I don't trust to anyone else that i think you would like to know."

She looked about nervously before handing Victor her number and leaving for the apartment she had gotten in the area, she turned and smiled at him before walking off.

"Finally." the strange man, clothed in a long black trenchcoat (hood up to cover his hair and face), wearing black jeans and also black shoes, standing in a dark place near the cafe, though, as he finally located the two people in the coffee shop. He spoke dome phrases in a foreign language into some kind of one-sided extra-small headset, hidden by his hood and shoulderlong white hairs. "Target located. Description fits exactly. Executing phase 2."

He took cover by moving into a even darker sidestreet. He shortly checked the area with the thermoview of his visor he clapped down before his eyes. There were not many people down the street, and nobody did really look like a threat for his mission.

ooc: hope there is no problem with me jumping in...

Agent Apiav noted the areas surroundings, he popped a zuavka smoke and listened to the light hum of loud traditional Moacian music that emitted through the air. The sweetness of the Zuavka weed tickled down his air passages as he slightly smiled. When the cigar only became a bud he threw it to the ground smashing it, but then his maroon eyes noted a movement, he peered down a long dark alley and noticed a hooded figure walking along it. He flipped his cell phone casually and spoke while walking towards the dark alley, "Zerov, How are you? Good... Good..."

Once he was out of range of sight from the target he whispered to the phone, "Zârov, â öre wi uzhäu pó, že sàßev"

He collapsed it silently as he watched the figure keep walking down the long and dark alley. The Ozian Agent pulled out his ISZ-24sup and aimed at the dark figure's neck with his pistol and pulled the trigger to let out a stream of silenced wifts.

Coming from the street of where the target was, was another Agent from STIA but disguised in Moacian traditional clothing and smoking a Zuavka. She opened the newspaper dispenser and took a newspaper from it and started to walk towards a chair to read from it.

Just before he made actions to move backwards further into the streets, looking for one last time over the streets, then also behind him, also checking the windows of the surrounding houses, he saw a shadow pulling out something that looked like a gun. "What the..." he thought, then realizing that the man was pointing on him. He reacted immediately; he jumped trough a closed window into the next building. But it was too late; bullets impacted not only on the place he was standing before. Some hit him on the shoulders, and one touched his head on the left, leaving a hole in his hood, rendering him unconscious, and badly wound him.

---

"Active contact lost. Agent still alive, but probably heavily wounded."
the woman working on a big computer console in the big, stuffed over with technical devices room said, not turning around to the man in the dark suit next to her but instead trying to analyze the shadow with the gun, looking the record of the head camera she received.

The man nodded. Then, he raised his distinct low voice. "Alert the other agents. Send 50-C and 43-D to extract him. 21-A shall take on the shooter and possible allies. Initialize Operation 21-2 Level 1. We cannot let this operation fail."

The woman quickly pressed some keys and gave orders over ComLink to the agents the man mentioned.

---

Agent 50-C and 43-D were only about 4 streets away from their target, as they received coordinates and orders. Like 13-A, they were clothed in a similar kind of trenchcoat. Slowly and almost unhearable, 50-C and her partner planned how they get the other agent out of there. They quickly came to a decision, and then begun moving trough the darkness, nearly unseen in the shadows in their black "uniforms".
