***Operation Ironhide***
**Rendezvous in Validus**
*VFB George Town*

General McKinsley looked out from his window, at the massive field which once showed lushes green grass as far as the eye could see. Now it was filled with hundreds of modular tents, soon to be the home to tens of thousands of soldiers and marines. McKinsley could just barely see the Ocean, but what he could see in it was  a dozen large warships. A smile came accross his face the day was getting closer, the day when he would put his men through the fire and hell to try out their training in a real environment.

Up above the General could hear the roar of a turboprop aircraft low to the ground. He looked up and saw the first of many C-130J aircraft brining in both men and equipment from across the nation to the staging points here on the eastern coast.

It has been two weeks since the Beginning of Operation Standard Spirit, which was the stand up phase of Operation Ironhide. It will be another week or two before they are ready to set sail to Canada. Luckily the weather had been fair, since the beginning of the Operation temperatures have been above 10C, and it has been sunny. According to the national Weather agency this trend was going to come to and end at the end of the week with temperatures dropping, still above freezing, and rain coming in off the ocean.

Close to 200,000 Soldiers and Marines had flooded into the area surrounding VFB George Town. Most of them Seasoned Regulars but many still untested but trained reservists. All of them were equipped to the highest standards capable for an operation of this size.

Dozens of ships now filled the ports dozens more were anchored off shore. In their off time many soldiers and marines would sit by the water and just look out at them in amazement, no one had see n these many warships in one location, especially with the carriers. It was a glorious sight, that few of them will ever see again. For these men and women were on the march to war.

The mighty High Seas Fleet sailed near the Valideen coast to where the Valideen ships were gathering. The flagship HICS Inglish Columbia was at the center with her sister ships, the Quebec, the Alberta, and the Nova Scotia. The four Ontario-class battleships were the backbone of the Canadian main battle fleet. Alongside the great battlewagons were two Artorion-class supercarriers. Surrounding the ships were destroyers, frigates, cruisers and battlecruisers. This was the largest gathering of Canadian ships into the High Seas Fleet all under the command of Guy Trudeau, Admiral of the Fleet. This fleet was going to represent the Greater Canadian Empire. Admiral Trudeau looked from the bridge of his battleship at the emerging Valideen fleet. The Valideen fleet was already large, but the Canadian High Seas Fleet was going to add extra firepower. Beside the Admiral was Vice-Admiral Hudson. The Vice-Admiral enjoyed being the Admiral's student. Hudson learned much from his mentor, and was on his way to become a great admiral. Many predict that he will succeed Trudeau as Admiral of the Fleet when he retires.

"A good day this is. Vice-Admiral, let's show the Valideen Navy the extra firepower that we have given them."

"Admiral, I still don't see why we weren't stationed on the east coast fighting the Dysaniian Navy."

"The General Staff has decided that the First, Second and Third Fleets are more then enough for the Dysaniian Navy to handle. The High Seas Fleet will be better use helping it's allies."

"Perhaps we should contact the Valideen Admiral."

"Let's do that right now. Ensign, patch me into the Valideen flagship. Tell them Admiral Guy Trudeau has arrived with the High Seas Fleet."

Aboard the IVS Queen Lexa, Supercarrier and Flagship of the Valideen Navy. "Sir, I have the Canadians on the wire. They want to speak you you sir."

Fleet Admiral Vincent picked up a handset that was stationed on his console. "This is Fleet Admiral Vincent, Commander of the Royal Navy of Valiuds. I see you brought out your guns for a show." He said this as he looked at a video screen from one of the Navy helicopters that was circling the Canadians.

**Meanwhile at the Docks**

"Lets Get these things moving!" yelled the Dock Chief.

Hundreds of vehicles were being driven in to large landing ships, backwards. The day was drawing closer to when the Valideen Navy would set sail.

Admiral Trudeau laughed when he heard the Valideen admiral. "Well, it wouldn't be called the High Seas Fleet if I didn't put her out to the high seas. Besides, you will need all the firepower you can get. When will we be ready to leave for our second objective?"

"We Will be setting sail in 5 days, the ground pounders will be loading up in my ships starting tomorrow. I have word that our Airborne guys are going to be heading to some of your airfields soon to prepare for their operations." The Admiral looked out the window of the bridge, he could see a small spec on the horizon, it was one of their battleships.

**Task Force K-Bar**

It had been a long journey to get all the troops from bases and cities around Validus to its eastern shores, and then onto the ships at sea. General McKinsley, supreme commander of the Invasion Forces, stood alongside his comrade Fleet Admiral Vincent on the bridge of the Queen Lexa. "Admiral, what do you say we get this rag tag group of boats underway,"

The Admiral looked at him and scoweled, "Ships, sir, you mean ships."

"Ah, yes, Ships." replied the General with a lightend accent.

Under the Admirals orders, the massive fleet of Valideen and Canadian vessels took to the blue water. The Fleet was underway.

Admiral Trudeau smiled. He loved the ocean. He believed it was an unforgiving lover, but the High Seas Fleet was it's masterpiece. The fleet was alongside the Valideen fleet. He had never seen so many ships in a single fleet. But they weren't done yet. And soon Trudeau will see his people free and strong once again. The fleet tore through the ocean surface like a hot knife through butter. Trudaeu knew it would be awhile before they get to their destination. "The bridge is yours, Vice-Admiral Hudson. I will be in my cabin."

"Aye, sir." Vice-Admiral looked out on the fleet.

The large armada of Valideen and Canadian Warships were reaching Western Canadian Waters. They were going to follow the Canadian Coast around to the staging area to launch the invasion.

"Admiral Hudson, urgent message from Empress Alia and the Advisory Council!" said an ensign as he handed Hudson a piece of paper.

Quote
To: Guy Trudeau, Admiral of the Fleet and Commander of the High Seas Fleet

A pro-monachist rebel group in Dysanii has decided to help in the war effort by launching a coup on the current Republican government and then end the war. However in order for them to cooperate with us, they ask that there be no aggresive attacks on Dysaniian soil or they will help the Federal Army expel us. The message from them has stated that they have mustered a force of 13,000 Imperial Guards and they need weapons and materials. We order you to help them by supplying them with weapons and send word to the Valideen Admiral and government. No invasion, help the Dysaniian monarchists.

Sincerly

Her Imperial Majesty
Alia Artorion, Empress of the Greater Canadian Empire

"Damn, they are asking me to waste the time that it took for us to help the Valideens gather a force and invade the Dysaniian mainland. Now they want us to help the Dysaniians with weapons and equipment. Wake Admiral Trudeau." The ensign saluted and let. A few minutes later, Admiral Trudeau arrived on the bridge.

"What's this all about, Admiral Hudson?"

Hudson handed Guy the message. "This. The Empress is ordering us to do this."

"Then we must. Send this message to Fleet Admiral Vincent. He will want to look at this. Also send a copy to the Valideen government. Now. Every minute counts."

ooc: sorry for posting here, i don't see a reason to start a new topic...

A Delfian fleet finally arrived from Validus. In order for the cooperation of the blockade, the delfian admiral tried to contact the Canadian commander.

"Admiral Trudeau, do you copy? This is Admiral Alberto, we have a big fleet here for cooperation in the blockade and with Valideen operations. Could you send me information about the needs and gaps you might have so we can get a comfy space in this blockade?"

Admiral Trudeau heard a voice from the headset. It was the Delfian Navy. He picked up the headset. "Admiral Alberto, this is Admiral Trudeau, we see you have brought out a large fleet. I am waiting for Admiral Vincent of the Valideen Navy to answer me, but do you ahve any weapons on board that we can give to an anti-Republic group in Copperville. They promised to launch a coup on the current government and sieze power. If they do so then they have promised an end to the war, but in exchange for their help, we must not launch aggresive attacks on Dysanii. I believe with our help they can be victorious, but if they fail, we continue with operations."

"I am having the Army send me the uniforms from Dysaniian POWs and dead. I was thinking of also giving them Dysaniian weapons and then help them get inside of the capital so they can launch the coup from the capital itself. They will never get power if they launch a coup from the outside. The less bloodshed, the better."
