"Crap, I'm late" saids Major Malina of the The Knights Templarios' Defense Force (KTDF).
"That stupid drunk on the plane, holding everything up" he thought to himself, "anyway, put it behind yourself and take a deep breath". He took the deep breath and starting looking around the large convention center. Everything had happened so fast, 3 days ago he had been on a winter exercise with his company before being called to Land Command HQ. They had informed him that since the recent boost in funding for the KTDF that there was going to be a massive overhaul of its the DF's personal weapons so here he was.

Glancing down at the program he had grabbed at the door he noted where he would start his search:
Combat Protection Firm - A2
Personal Arms Division- A5
Silver Rice Incorporate - C1
Anyia Ballistic Complex - C2

Heading over to the Combat Protection Firm would be his first port of call. The KTDF only had basic helmets for protection and he loses during the small number of operations against terrorist, drug dealers and priates were just too high.

OCC: alright for me to join and any way to calculate the amount of money is reasonable to spend for my country?

OOC: If you can get your hands on one of the formula's for an NS economy tracker, you should be able to plug in the right population count for your nation.

IC:
Garanin thought about the YJ-83...It's certainly state of the art, but Cantr wasn't staring down any major wars against competent foes, and Cantr was facing a war against the Pirate Lords.  Using the YJ-83 on them would be ludicrously overkill.  "Have you got anything cheaper for less competent foes?"

Meanwhile, Sabin walked over to the combat protective firms showcase item, the Next Generation Body Armor.  Current Cantrian body armor had proven to be very effective during the Cantr Wars.  But in the Cantr Wars the most effective military force on the island, man to man, had been Sable company, and they had been a solid decade and a half behind the times.  It was time to upgrade...well...everything.  Starting with this body armor.

YJ-83:

"Uh, you must be looking for missiles for the counter-insurgent role? We have just the right thing for you."

The sale agent stops the looping presentation video on a nearby widescreen and pulls out a schematic of another anti-ship missile.

"This here is our Light Weight Anti-Ship Missile, designated YJ-7. It was specially produce for use against criminals and smugglers by the LN. While it won't take out any warship, it's a excellent weapon against small boats and such. It fitted with a tv-homing optic for guidance, a 27kg armor piercing high explosive warhead, and a solid rocket motor that gives a range of 15-20km. The missile measures at just 2.5m length and 100kg weight, small enough to be launch from a helicopter or a patrol boat. Our tests have shown the YJ-7 to be accurate to 95% hit probability on a moving target, quite an excellent product for just $60,000.

Also, I suggest you look at our compact naval version of the 30mm auto-cannon.

It is a devastating weapon if I ever seen one, and in a hands of one man can destroy the entire deck of a ship. 900 rounds per minute, with a 400 gram explosive projectile flying at 2500 ft per second....it's quite the nasty lady. It was originally a weapon for planes in the ship attack role, but we placed it in a trainable deck mount with a 2 inch thick bulletproof glass plate for protection. You got your choice of magazine size and mount style, and since the gun is a short-recoil action there's no need to power it. Reliable, sturdy, and accurate...you can't find anything like this anywhere else."

The woman was of middle age but still attractive. Her tanned skin made her stand out of the crowd somewhat.
She moved across the exposition with elegance and confidence.
The man at her side had another way to go about. His sheer presence made people step out of the way.
He was large, lightly tanned and sported three enormous scars on the left side of his neck.
They made their way to the booth marked B8.
The woman walked up to one of the representatives there greeting him in the usual Loyan manner.
"I am Admiral Atl, Terrangan Navy" the woman said handing over a business card.
"We are looking for anti ship missiles. Your YJ-83 has caught my interest.
I would like to have some further information especially about the wiring of the system and positioning.
Can it be vertically launched? And could you show me the load cycle?
Also I would like to know if and how the system can be integrated with current naval sensor suits to decrease reaction time."
The power we hold comes from our citizens.
And they may take it away as well.

After finally battlign his way though the many fat generals, their massied staff and bucket loads of men in suits he reached the stand. Picking up a leaflet he read:

Partly what he was looking for but just tad bulky for recon units and such like, was going to have to ask for help so he started to look around for someone who didnt have a chest full of medals and looked like they knew what they were talking about.

Terranger:

"Our export systems are fitted with a modified commercial standard datalink, so there should be minimal customizing needed. Unfortunately, the YJ-83 lacks any vertical launch capabilities. The missiles are put into box launchers, usually four each."

Templarios:

A sales rep sees Major Malina, and moves from his desk to offer assistance.

"Can I help you Sir?"

"Ah, the Next Generation Personal Armor. As you might already know, this suit is created from the latest materials available, hence the cost will be a bit more than normally. But assure you, once production is in place we can provide competitive pricing for this product line. At current, a full suit costs around $13,000 with helmet. Maybe not an option for regular troops with that sort of money, but certainly favorable for special forces and commanders who won't mind the weight."

Hi, thanks," said Major Malina, "was just listening in to your colleague. But what is their in the way on lighter body armour? The KTDF is only for defense and some minor offense operations so quick and fast is one of the main strengths for us - do you have any body armour that would complement that system?"

"Saying that," he continued, " we may buy some for certain units. DO we get a discount on say 250 units?"

"Well certainly, we do have the level III full suit assembly. Similar construction, less protection against hard steel and AP rounds, but lighter weight. It's use by our police force and army personnel when the mission requires protection on the mobility side of things. It protect the wearer from most soft core rifle rounds and pistols hits. It weights in at just 13 pounds with frontal plate insert. You have a choice of either UHMWP or Aramid soft vest, the later being more expensive.

For the Mark 8, the price is around $1200 with frontal plates; the Aramid fireproof version is at $1800. Plate replacement is at around $100 each, $550 for the entire front and back plate set. The vest replacement cost is $800, with bulletproof sections for repair at $200 apiece. The Mark 8 is a good price for those that don't need overkill protection."

The sales rep takes out a form and hands it to the Major.

"Now we just need your authorization number, the delivery address,..."

After the form was filled, the sales rep filed it into a computer.

"Your order is cleared sir, they should be arriving at the address in two weeks after we process your items. Here's our contact card if you need anything else. You should also sign up for a client account on our website. Thank you for your business!"

"Thank you very much as well, but what are the delivery times?" Said the Major, "We are going through a massive re-vamp of our armed forces so may contact you again with a larger order. Pleasure doing business with you."
