Actually, the universe went bloop long before when you said.  It went bloop about then
"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

I don't get it.

Who wants the Episode 412: The Kurman Invasion from the future? I even know its intro!

A long long time ago...
In a not so far away galaxy that can take 3 days to travel to...

The Kurman Invasion!

The Kurmanians entered the New Empire's territory quickly swarming it and taking control of the corrupt Jedi Council. The populace were overjoyed. However, this was not to last. The Kurmans quickly started their reign of terror on Planet X. 432 .3 123. - 12cv in the BB.b.C-N Galaxy. Can Luke Solo of the esteemed Solo family line, enemy of the hated Skywalker family line, defeat the Kurmans?

Seriously, I don't get it...

(Isn't dialogue spelled that way and not dialog?)

Yes, I believe was being obtuse.  Dialogue it is, though the spellchecker doesn't recognize it.  ::)

Thank you; I knew I wasn't crazy.  The spellchecker has probably gone a little batty having to deal with Barakarin, and has forgotten a few real words.

That sounds like a highly plausible explanation.

Want to have some intelligent dialogue (spellchecker be damned)?

This has to be the most ambiguous leadup to the presidential primaries ever, no?  I have no idea who's going to come out for the Dems/GOP, and, for the first time, I believe an independent can win (but only if that independent is Michael Bloomberg).  And why, pray tell, isn't Al Gore running?

Gore is being a damn wuss; that's why.  I'm a little mad at him, frankly.  My vote is for Chris Dodd, at the moment.  The man actually has PLANS for how he wants to affect positive change, instead of vague ideals.

Of course, I can't vote...If I could, well...I'm not sure if I even would vote in the primary...too confusing.  I might wait until a candidate has won that.  And I would vote for Gore over anybody else...IF HE RAN!

What do you think about Bloomberg?

The man who named the channel...Michael Bloomberg, Independent Mayor of New York City.

What do you think about Bloomberg?

His website is highly uninformative.  I'm trying to find out his position on several issues that I find very important, and his "Issues" section only touts his victories as Mayor.  That's typical for a campaign site, of course, but it's still frustrating.  What I've seen thus far looks okay-ish (though I find it very odd that he was supposedly a "life-long" Democrat before running for Mayor on the Republican ticket), but I'll keep searching.

My searching has born fruit!  I like that he wants to legalize gay marriage and turn over all of NYC's cabs for hybrid cars, and it's interesting to read about his forgiving immigration policy.  I do not, however, enjoy seeing how many Republican Congressional candidates he's endorsed and funded, nor do I like the statements I read of his about the Iraq situation.

Thus far, I would have to say I would not vote for him.
