The main thing with religious wars is....

That it's not religious, most often it's people who are either cynical and power hungry or extremists to the point of beeing heretics to their own faith that use religion as a way to gain followers that they use to get the power they think they have a right to.

oh..... but that leaves me with 1 question....why do a lot of people in the US hate Islam? i personally don't, but when i try to say its a peace full religion, all my friends say shut up.

It's just ignorance.  People who don't study other religions have an easier time dismissing them as violent or barbaric, without an understanding of their true natures, their history and development.  Islam is just the most convenient target for that kind of thinking in the US today.

Same with me, its the mechanics that's interesting, taking apart, putting together and see that it works ;D But it's always nice to work with things that's the top of their kind right? :)

And my oppinion is that if a nation has to use it's armed forces and a soldier has to use his weapon, then they have all failed long before that happens.

But that's only true for zealots/extremists who in some cases want to proove their aspect of a single god has the biggest sinch that is the only 'true' aspect of the only 'true' god... Like the jewish, christian and muslim fanatics.
