Okay. I would like everybody's take on these three subjects. I personally have no literal diestic belief, and I believe everyone who does is either really stupid or a PUSSY. I say pussy because some people have to have the idea of a parent figure up there watching them in order to keep going---it's a fear thing. People don't have confidence in themselves so they rely on a mythical "god" that tells them what to do and guides them. I believe all those with a literal deistic belief in God, Satan, Vishnu, Alla or Zues are stupid. Just my opinion. I believe the universe is based on energy. The bible is all mythology in my opinion. The creation story is just as dumb as the one the ancient greeks had, or the native americans, not that I think native americans are dumb.
However, LaVeyan Satanism, that is, the philosophy (not religion) laid out by John LaVey in the "Satanic Bible" in 1969, is quite interesting. No, LaVey did not worship satan, for that is gay. LaVeyan Satanists are basically aetheists who have no faith in humanity, and use "satan" as a METAPHOR FOR HUMAN NATURE. LaVeyan Satanism isn't at all about being cruel to others, either. THey believe it is MOST appropriate to love those near and dear to you. They just use their religion to live out their feeling WITHOUT thinking it's a sin. They think christianity is bullshit. So basically, they are pessimists in rebellion against christianity. That's why they where the cross upside down. A common example they use is the principle "turn the other cheek". If some guy smashed a bottle in my sister's face, I'm supposed to turn the other cheek? Fuck that. I would be after his ass. I am not a LaVeyan satanist, by the way, I just think its interesting.
Now, onto the next subject: Metal. I love metal. It is the best music in the world. Be it Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Power Metal, Viking Metal, Doom Metal, Black Metal, whatever, I am into alot of it. I find liberation in metal...the ferocity...the brutality...the emotion...It's quite astounding. You know, Chuck Shuldiner, lead guitarist and singer/songwriter of Death, on of the first death metal bands, was an animal lover and a wonderful man. He was kind and generous, and gave to charity on a regular basis. He was an idealist, and yet, he was a DEATH METAL GURU!!! He died of throat cancer in the 90's. RIP, chuck, I miss you... See, the whole "gore" thing is symbolic. It's something very few people understand.
Now onto the last subject: Meatballs. I love meatballs, especially swedish meatballs. They are awesome.
