*puts glasses on, then hides them, in shame* ;D nah, I was not mistaking: you put an 'e' in my mouth (not to speak about the moose-droppings pie) and I was talking about this - moosberries are a variation of the vaccinum vitis idaea species that grow in Lapland (also known as multer) and their name obviosly comes from the parasite sub-stratum they grow on- namely moos, a regular misspelling of the English word 'moss'. And as a ninja never makes any mistakes, I shall personally take you on a a trip during the harvesting season (August). Sayonara. :fight:

Well, no option was listed for "They're both ghey." And I'm not in the mood for a cookie at the moment lol. In my book though, the only thing more lame than a pirate is a clown, ninjas being the lesser of to lame things lol

As I was involved in TNP in the great bight era. I could not vote Pirate!

Besides, cookies get to choke people, drop in half in your lap when you dunk them in tea, melt chocolate over your hands, leave crumbs on the sofa that find their way into your underpants. They also come in ginger flavour, which ninjas do not. Also, pirates do not have cool names like "rich tea" "bourbon cream" "ginger thin" "garibaldi"

Cookies FTW.

Being a ninja just plain wouldn't be as much fun as being a pirate.  Do you ever see a bunch of ninjas having a huge party?  No!  Ninjas are silent and stealthy and self-controlled.  Completely the opposite of a pirate, who can be as loud and boisterous and drunken as they like!  Would you rather go to a party where everyone's silent and moving quietly and trying to blend in with the curtains and hide their identity... or a party where everybody's singing and dancing and yelling and letting loose?  Pirates, yarrr!

By the way, if we're going to be weekend pirates, we're going to have to come up with a name for that monkey, ya know.  We can't just call him Monkey all the time.  He'd get mixed up with everybody else's monkeys that way.

"We named the monkey Jack."

Pirate party, ahoy!  :drunks:  A couple of my "acquaintances" are planning one, as it just so happens.  My friend Jessie has a shanty-style room in his basement with nets on the plank-shod walls and whatnot, so we're hoping to hijack it for an evening.  It looks as though a good time will be had by all.  You're all invited, by the by.  There isn't a date yet... or a guest list or any concrete plans whatsoever... okay, so right now it's more of a nebulous concept that may become reality on day soon.  It's going to be fantabulous, though!

Jack it is!  Excellent!

Incidentally and totally beside the point, I once had a spelling-challenged friend in high school who tried to paint that phrase on her wall, and ended up with "Carpe denim!" which loosely translates to "Sieze the pants!"

Oh, I'm sure we could.  All we'd have to do is off-handedly demonstrate our skill with swords in the eye patch shop...

Would you rather go to a party where everyone's silent and moving quietly and trying to blend in with the curtains and hide their identity... or a party where everybody's singing and dancing and yelling and letting loose?

Well, it's probably a reflection on my character that I'd prefer the ninja party; I'm not a very social guy. Ninja-hood would suit me perfectly, except for all the killing. Then again, being a pirate would involve even more mass murder, so I'd still rather be a ninja.

Khablan surely convinced me! And don't they say you need to try them all? Carpe diem!

That kind of attitude is detrimental to this entire argument. You either support ninjas, pirates or neither. There is no random switching between the two.

While we're kind of not on the topic, I don't really see how pirates and ninjas became natural enemies. It doesn't make much sense to have a rivalry between two entirely different ways of life. But, whatever.

Incidentally and totally beside the point, I once had a spelling-challenged friend in high school who tried to paint that phrase on her wall, and ended up with "Carpe denim!" which loosely translates to "Sieze the pants!"

I would love to have that as a catchphrase.
