Chat Box
« on: January 09, 2008, 07:50:08 PM »
I gather that when the Taijitu forum first came online, it had a chat box, something I quite enjoyed in the Lex.  However, I gather it was latter removed because it used practically all the server resources.

For anyone who doesn't know what a chat box is, it's a box where anyone can go and post a message, all contained in one nice little web page.  It's similar to IRC, although it lacks a lot of the fluidity of IRC.  However, if, like me, you can't get onto IRC, it's the next best thing.

Anyway, I was wondering what other people's opinions on this were, and if the Admins would ever see fit to perhaps host an off site chat box on the forum.

If you would like to see what a chat box is, there is a special Taijitu one here.
