« on: February 06, 2008, 06:07:30 AM »
Yeah!!!!! Jericho RETURNS!!!!!! Need I say more. I can't wait to find out what happens between Mimi, Bonnie (she's kinda cute.) and Stanley. Also, what is up with this Allied States of America? Where is the United States? Is this it's succesor state or is it a separate entity?

I wasn't very impressed, it looks like a try to make a realistic american madmax. It's cool, but unimpressive.

I liked it. Better then some of the stuff that came out at the same time. Like Surface, Invasion, and others. They didn't last there first season like Jericho, but Jericho had a solid fanbase that was able to bring it back. It's a shame that couldn't happen with Firefly.

Fortunately.....Americans. Religious fanatics (like this woman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mfgb4DLKH5g), domestic terrorists, and domestic militias (like the minutemen). They were given the nukes by an American senator who used the chaos after the nuclear attack, to become the President of the Allied States of America, a country between the Mississippi and the Pacific, minus Texas. The Republic of Texas, I am sure that is what it is called now, is fighting for independence, while the remnants of the United States is fighting the ASA from the eastern states between the Mississippi and the Atlantic. Alaska is now either, independent, part of Russia, or part of Canada. Hawaii is either part of the ASA, or is independent. A friend of mine thinks that the military presence on Hawaii may instead made it a military dictatorship.

Well, that lasted long...
"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
