Yo no entiendo...
"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Your wish is granted, but no one knows what it means so they just fill you full of ham sandwiches and throw you into the sun.

You can...just like Icarus.  Then you go too close to the sun, your wings burn off, and you plummet.

I wish my pillow was softer...

Granted.  Your pillow is now so soft your head sinks right down to mattress level and offers zero comfort.

I wish I had nine arms.  Bitchin'.

Your wish is my command...good luck ever walking through a door again.

I wish Harry Potter wasn't going to be finished in 13 hours.

Granted.  Every copy of book 7 on the planet burns and no more are ever made; this way it will never end.

*Well, I guess I'd have to look at those online screenshots, then.*

Granted...now every paper you staple has a noticeable splotch in the top...you do that once on an envelope, and the combination of envelope "sticky stuff" and vodka sends noxious fumes into the air that knocks you out.

I wish I had a time machine.

Granted, but the time machine only has an on/off switch. Moving it to the off position stops time.

I wish people'd get it.

Granted, but they are all singed and the baker's apprentice managed to use salt instead of sugar...

I wish I had someone here to help me clean the house tomorrow
