"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Let's make this simple...

Hello,

Q: How would you suggest new nations form up their resources, and statistics? Including natural resources, military, and citizen and what not ... ? Also what would you suggest about making a history for your nation, aswell as a map, or flag?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin!

Here's a link that some of us use for the stats - Economy Statistics

St Oz can put your nation on the RP map, but I can't personally give you any recommendations on that.  Allama might have some insight.

As for history and such, I suggest having a look at different National Statistics pages.  You don't need to post everything at once.  People often post some bare essentials and then add to it over time.

Flags and such, I'm not sure of.  Hope you're getting some good leads in IRC.  Or maybe someone else will post some suggestions here.

RP is RP. Whatever you want it to be. Use your imagination. Some people have an entire history in their head, and just use that as their basis, others come here and add little bits here and there until they think they're good. Resources you can pick to suit where you're placed on the map, which can be anywhere left (black space). You can ask for any design you want, though Oz adds his own details, most of the time. And... sometimes people make their own map and post it, so... it really doesn't matter. Citizens is controlled by your NS country, though Oz has said that RPers should reduce by 1/6th, like he has, but... Oz is huge, so... moving on. Flags... I know you PMed Tweedy, but I-S can make flags too in his RP shop. Just in case you wanted another option.

Talmann

R&U. I made my flags, and I have contacted Oz in regards to placement within map. I will get started shortly on resources, and what not once I have been placed in the map. Thanks Tal, and Khab.

Can just anyone create a topic in the Supreme Court? There's something I'm considering bringing before the court, but I noticed that there's no New Topic button.

Hey Help Desk!
I was just wondering what the procedure is for setting up an alliance with another region. I want to maybe set up an embassy with my former region of Elarim. Could anybody help me with this??

Thanks,
New Callande

Hello New Callande!

Actually, individual citizens don't set up our alliances.  What you should do is contact our Minister of External Affairs; Korinn handles the negotiations and whatnot for all of our embassy exchanges.  You can send him a PM here with your request.  :)  I hope that helps!

Cheers,
Alana
