I watched kurtjmac play it on YouTube but I never had a chance to get it myself. I think I'd like it, though, because I was always a fan of Orbiter. If that game taught me anything, it's that outer spacing is hard! From what I've heard, KSP only reinforces that fact.

I should probably play the game again. I stopped a while ago because I wanted to wait until it was more complete, but it seems to be greatly improved now.
