"This is Talstadt Luftcorps Zeug 147 coming in to Carcossa. Do you read me, Carcossa?" The pilot's voice was harsh and loud on Illid's ears. He turned to one of his guards, "How long was I asleep?"
"Longer than I was, Herr Bachs."
A few minutes later, Bachs felt the jolt of the plane hitting the tarmack. As the plane taxied to its destination, Illid was looking out on this jungle paradise and the huge city landscape centered in it. Bachs felt sure that this would be an excellent place for business, if not just a place to live once in a while. A voice on the intercom said, "Herr Bachs, we have arrived in Uichi Ryu."
