Mods!
« on: June 27, 2014, 12:44:14 PM »
I just restored pretty urls as the absence of them was wearing me down (and the old broken links...). (Please let me know of any links that remain broken that you run into.) (OK I did it now because I wanted to put a pretty URL in the revision description of [wiki]Document:Constitution of Taijitu[/wiki]...)

Next on my list is Who Voted What, for the Council and/or Senate (Chamber of Four Winds and/or [noun] of Elders) to use in their polls.

Any other suggestions:fight:

(Also, any themes people would really like to see? We can't maintain _too_ many of them.)

Manually added some helpful links along the lines of DomainTools to the IP viewer. Copy-pasting the IP checking for spambots was driving me nuts.

MultiQuote and Reason For Editing both sound good, and I'd like to see PMs going to new members to welcome them and highlight important forum policies, intro area, etc.

Multi Quote FTW. And I echo Allama's feelings about new member PM's.

That wouldn't be redundant when we institute welcome Telegrams?

I suppose the Forum policies aren't necessarily relevant in that so I can see it.

For later: Welcome PM Mod.

Oh, are we currently figuring out who each new forum member is on Nationstates.net even if they have yet to post, then sending a TG there with links to stuff on the forums that is not related to anything on the game site?

We are not. We will be setting a welcome TG, I hope, which points people toward Citizenship as at least a possibility though.

Then a PM to a new forum member linking them to the most important sections of the forum itself shouldn't be redundant. ^____^

I was a tiny bit worried that it could generate "welcome message fatigue" but that's probably not an issue.

Going to toss What You See Is What You Get editor into consideration, too :)
