mind you, most of those "terrorists" were French and Belgium, there's even a French one with a Portuguese mother. People have their xenophobe rifles all prepped up.

We're going to war...oh and the debt? You can shove that debt into the bombs we're dropping in Syria.

PRE-1980s OZIA: LOCK, CAUTERIZE, STABILIZE. Families would disappear, not only that, Ozian fervor would take over, and the country that would be Syria at the moment would be the victim of several carpet bombings.

POST-1980s OZIA: More covert and specialized about its anti-terrorism. Several laws from pre-1980s technically exist, like Gaeanism being the only legal religion to practice. Although not enforced, police could arrest, raid, etc. with any suspicion of "cult activities". Bombings in the Syria-country would have more precision. STIA does not need any bureaucratic permission to "arrest" someone.

In both situations, the Listener would probably declare the terrorists Non-Spirits or Empty-Bodies, meaning anyone is free to kill them without fear of legal retaliation. However she might hold back as being captured by STIA would be a fate worse than death.

The Allied States welcomes all peoples, refugees or not.  As a government, we provide no support for those people though.  They would be expected to find work or have money with them to survive.  Some help could be found through charity but they would not be able to handle large numbers.  If they resorted to crime to survive, many would end up being killed by the armed citizenry in their defense.  As such, many of the terrorists would probably be shot n killed by the armed citizenry as they pulled off the attacks.

Personal responsibility is greatly valued, thus the whole (the refugees) would not be blamed nor would it change our policy of welcoming all peoples.

Pre-Greater War: utilized refugees as cheap/slave labor, with the exception of intellectuals whom were given status as citizens.

Post-Greater War: we would welcome refugees openly while utilizing Vinnana'Datu Da'Kavo to root out terrorists, they are on par with STIA for respect of human rights.

Immigration's never been a problem in the TDP: they've always made up a significant portion of the population.

But of course, being a check democracy, the third option best describes our system in the TDP, which itself leans towards the second option.
