If I'm inside a house, I like rain/thunderstorm/hail, outside I prefer no rain.

Nah... a light fog or great big fluffy snow flakes from a dry Cold sky of fresh air would be the best :)

Rain, fog, mist... I love it all in spring through fall! Liquid water is my element.

When winter has us in its icy grip, however, I would rather see the sun every day.

I'd have said fog myself, but fog isn't precipitation. It's condensation.
