So many of you playing have probably noticed that it's stupidly hard to click something precisely, so much so that taking over all the small islands is almost impossible.

Explanation: The people at Golemlabs, bless their hearts, released the video config to help jump-start their old game to more modern monitor and resolutions. However, it's a very crude early version and doesn't exactly fix the problem. What happened is it helped bring up a larger screen, but it 'stretches' the what you're about to select. If you've fibbed with it a bit you can see that it's most accurate when you center whatever you want to select on your screen, then zoom in and click it while it's in the center. Otherwise if you click something off center it will select something that's in the direction away from center. Hopefully they fix this, but I'm not too hopeful.

If you're not too annoyed by this, then just keep it the way it is. A tip for how to select things accurately is to hit tab, it will come up with information about what your mouse is hovering over. This is what you will click. It's also useful for finding things on the map, such as really tiny islands like the maldives.

However to fix the problem, just choose one of the native resolutions the game came out with in your options tab, and you should be able to select everything much more accurately.
