The Law Givers approached the convoy, walking slowly with their stun batons resting on their shoulders. LG-Smith pointed his baton at the person in the drivers seat. "You! Get the fuck out of that truck!" He moved towards him, preparing to deliver some swift 'justice' for disobeying inspection laws, as the others moved to the trucks to inspect them and LGS-Johnson rounded on the pregnant woman.

"Mm, you sure are fine...for common wasteland scum, anyway." He stroked her arm, provoking one of the other members of the caravan to move forward quickly before they stopped themselves. Johnson walked up to the man and punched him in his belly. He lifted his baton to his side before whispering, "This...will be very enjoyable." LG-Curtis looked at the commotion from the back of a truck.

"Give it to him good, serge!"

Fetch and Greg both got out of their vehicles slowly, feeling dread deep in the pits of their stomachs.  They told us not to move, but now they're getting pissed we didn't get out until they came over here to watch us?  We coulda hidden weapons behind the doors, damn it!  No matter what we did, they'd have found a reason to beat somebody today.  Those reckless, power-hungry fools are gonna get themselves killed eventually.  We can't keep taking this shit forever.

Neither of them resisted as the one they called a Sergeant beat the piss out of Johnny.  It was no wonder he'd reacted the way he did when the bastard touched his wife, but at least he hadn't gotten too close or, Devil take 'im, hit the Law Giver.  He wouldn't be able to walk away from this otherwise.  At least he has the sense to take it without fighting back; it was about time he stopped acting like a damn idiot.

Lotta was holding herself back, but she couldn't stop the tear that rolled down her face as she watched them savage the only man she'd ever thought she could really trust to watch over her.  It just wasn't fair; the good ones never had any influence in the world anymore.  She only hoped the man had been trying to scare her with his comments; she wasn't particularly pretty and doubted he'd really do what he was hinting at... even Law Givers weren't usually that cruel.  If he was, though, she worried more for the baby so close to being born than for herself.

After agreeing with the Deathhawks that the two brothers owed them a favour in return for the ammo, they resumed their course towards New Zion, this time, Carl was driving and the pintle mounted 7,62mm MG had been replaced by Charlie's 'Barret M82A1'.

Shouting over the wail of their souped-up engine they saw New Zion appear as out of nowhere when they cleared the last ridge in an impressive jump.
"Look bro'!, New Zion coming up!"

"I see that!, HEY! What's going on over there?!"

"...and let that be a lesson to you, local." Said Sergeant Johnson, the man on the floor cradling his broken arm. Feeling much better about himself, he called to Smith, Curtis and Mirendez, "OK, lets move." As his team walked back to the APC, he threw a small box with a red cross on and some pain killers to the man he had just introduced to his baton. "You have guts. Or stupidity. Get yourself cleaned up." He entered the APC last, which drove off towards the city, signalling the end of the inspection.

Lotta tended to Johnny while Fetch and Greg watched out for more incoming strangers.  They thought they'd seen a vehicle on the horizon and were making sure no one came upon them unexpectedly with a man wounded.

OOC: Apologies for the short post, I'm leaving for the weekend.  Anyone who wants to RP with my guys will have to wait 'til Monday for a reply, sorry!

"Hey Charlie, don't you think it looked like those so called Law giver bunch?!"

"Yeah, I think it was, looked like they were messing with some people too!"

"Well, I noticed some of our stuff went missing in ghoul town, one of the radios among other things!"

"You think they took 'em Carl?!"

"Of course they did! Those Deeathawks was never even near the buggy!"

"Well, should we teach them a lesson then?"

"You read my mind lil'bro!"

"Then stop over there by those rocks! I'll shoot from the buggy!"

"Done and done!"

The caravaneers saw how the small buggy in the distance pulled in and stopped behind some large rocks on the closer slope of a ridge. A few seconds later, they saw a large flash by the rocks and a trail of red light hit the passenger side of the Law Giver APC with a small explosion. The impact of the armour piercing HE tracer wouldn't have hurt a full size tank, but the light 15mm aluminium armour of the APC was no match for it. Had it not been for the Law Giver closest to the blast still wore his armour the rest of them would have been forced to scrub parts of him off the inside of the APC. Instead he was peppered with burning armour fragments and bullet shards.

A couple of seconds later, the loud and sharp sound of a large calibre rifle reached the caravaneers' ears followed shortly by the sound of the round's impact.

"Wooop! I got 'em reall good Carl!, Now step on it!"

The buggy lurched forward from the rocks and ran full speed flying over the crest and then falling out of sight.

After watching the Brothers drive off, the Deathhawks entered there small base, which is nothing more then Sandbag walls and 2 small huts. They parked there car next to the msall plane they had.

"My god, when will we get that plane working?"

"Ah, Craft is working on it right now"

A Loud bang was heard

"HEY GUYS! THE PLANE IS WORKING!!!!"

The Rest of the Deathhawks ran outside to see the plane

"Lets go!"

The Deathhawks boarded the plane, with a small MG monuted on the side. The flew and headed towrds New Zion

"What the fu-" was all LGS-Johnson could shout before a second shot hit the fuel canisters attached to the inner wall, the ensuing explosion killing the team within in a concentrated inferno of fire and melted metal.

The brothers didn't stay to assess the damage and ran their buggy full speed to another end of the small city, making sure they stayed well out of sight as to appear to arrive at the perimeter checkpoint from the other direction in the first place.
Before they drove up into the checkpoint's view, they stopped out of sight and hid the bigger weapons well by taking them apart and hiding them in the extra tubes in the car's frame.

When that was done, they drove up to the checkpoint. Carl was hiding his left hand as it was sheated in an odd close combat glove they had found at the base. Charlie had hid the P90 in a secret compartment in the back of the gunner seat. The pintle mount was empty.

While the Deathahwks were flying they saw a large inferno. Flying around it, they saw it had a Law Givers symbol.

"Oh My god...'

"Those guys did it!"

"OH YEAH!!!"

The Deathhawks Flew to New Zion, where they saw the Brothers. They fly over them several times, trying to get there attenion.

"Oh f*ck, oh f*ck... Jesus shit, what are we gonna do?"  Lotta was beside herself instantly after seeing the Law Givers' APC hit.  As much as she hated them, especially right now, she knew they had to stay on good terms with them to keep up their business.  "Oh God, what if they think... no, they couldn't... we obviously didn't have any weapons that could do that, we're practically unarmed against APCs, they would know that, right?"

"Lotta, chill out!  NOW!  We have more important things to do than go on about it.  Greg, let's get over there and see if there's any survivors.  Lotta, stay here with..."

Fetch suddenly stopped talking as Johnny stood up, wavering.  "We all go."

No one wanted to tell him he couldn't manage it, so the four trekked over to the ruined APC.  As soon as they were close enough for their voices to be heard, Fetch called out, "We're just comin' to see if anyone needs assistance, Law men.  No need fer weapons; wasn't us as did the shootin', understand?"  He continued in this vein as he and Greg got closer, trying to see if there were any bodies still moving in the half-blazing rubble.
