January 2012 Party Primaries
« on: January 23, 2012, 08:26:41 PM »
It's that time again! And this time I've actually remembered to begin this so we can select our slate of candidates for Senate and Delegate. You may nominate yourself or any other party member. A vote on the final candidates will be held in five days. Have at it!

I'll decline my nomination for another term as Delegate and nominate myself as a Senate candidate in the Progressive Party Primary.

In that case, I will nominate myself for both senator and delegate, and we'll see what happens. I guess I need to make two platforms in the next few days >.>

A vote has been opened and will close in 48 hours. You will have all received a link to the Condorcet Internet Voting service polls I created. If it's not in your inbox, check your spam box. If it's not there either, complain to me and I'll add you.

Dammit, I completely messed that up. I have created a new poll, which I hopefully got all four names onto this time >_<

The polls have closed, and we have winners!

For the Senate race:

1. Myroria (Condorcet winner: wins contests with all other choices)
2. Dyr Nasad  loses to Myroria by 3–2
3. Cozulul  loses to Myroria by 3–2, loses to Dyr Nasad by 4–1
4. Gulliver  loses to Myroria by 3–2, loses to Cozulul by 3–2

And for the Delegate race:

1. Gulliver  (Condorcet winner: wins contests with all other choices)
2. Dyr Nasad  loses to Gulliver by 4–1

Myroria, Dyr Nasad, and Cozuzul will be the Progressive Party's candidates for Senate, and Gulliver will be our candidate for Delegate! Congratulations to us all!
