Official Policy on Colonies/Large Nations
« on: February 18, 2015, 06:13:19 AM »
Worldbuilders who want sprawling empires must follow most if not all of these guidelines
  • Be Respectful to other worldbuilders. (compromising, etc.)
  • Have a well thought out and creative nation. (unique nation, people, language, etc.)
  • Cannot have a Mary Sue Utopia State. (Perfect society with hardly any problems)
  • Established stories/culture in Taijitu so that we can assume you'll be around.
  • Cannot impose their new power on other nations (don't wave your new power on other worldbuilders)
  • Bigger the Nation, Greater the Diversity. So be prepared to make several cultures/political factions within your nation.
  • Don't think that any amount of land will result in your nation having Autarky.
  • Don't think that having a colony or conquest won't result in war with other countries/worldbuilders. You should expect it.
  • Don't think of worldbuilding as losing or winning.
  • You're creating a story, not conquering the world.

That is all.
