This may very well be my last address in capacity as your Delegate.
I have had differences with many members of this region since coming into office, mostly because of my rather heavy handed style of going about things. You all know where I stand on that, and there's no need in rehashing.
As you all know, we had a little visitor from Gatesville, who, after demanding an apology for Taijitu's part in assisting in the liberation of TNP, commenced to mocking our citizens and our region, using language which can only be interpreted as a declaration of war. Which, given game play mechanics, is really quite laughable.
Altogether now...
LOL @ Gatesville!!!
How dare Gatesville come onto our forum and insult our citizens. Regardless of whatever internal squabbles we may have, outsiders flaming our citizens shall not be tolerated. Our signatures and syntax are our own concern, and you'd do well to stay out of it. When the chips are down, we will stick together. We shall not be cowed into humiliating apologies for imagined wrongs upon a war mongering and repressive regime. If you for one instance thought otherwise, then you were sorely mistaken.
Gatesville.... get the fuck off our forum, and stay off until you learn some manners.
As it seems to be a majority consensus at this point that I step down, this war may very well fall to my successor. No matter whether I am in power, or not, things will be returning to normal, in the way the Taijitu government is ran. These changes will be implemented either by myself here shortly, or by my elected successor.
Here is the part where I would normally urge you all to get involved, and pitch in during this time of unprovoked war. To be honest though, from what I seen in that thread started by nikocujo, you've all done that, and performed magnificently. Let this serve as a reminder to those who thought the Taijituan spirit was dead, both abroad, and here at home, (sadly, myself included) that only is the Taijituan spirit alive, it thrives.
I couldn't be more proud.
We shall go on, we shall stand tall, and we shall prevail.
Taijitu bows to no one.
