New Government Program
« on: March 28, 2008, 09:53:45 PM »

Thanks to Limi and Elu, We are introducing a new Recruitment Incentive Program.

Effective immediately, we will be offering free web hosting to those who recruit consistently this space can be used for a website, blog, forum, w/e you want, so long as it falls within the realm of that which is legal (durrr)

 Here's how it works.

For every 50 telegrams you send, you will earn 5 megs of storage.

Once you have earned your storage, you need to send 150 TG's per week to maintain it (this is regardless of the size of your site, someone with 150 megs will need to send the same 150 TG's per week as someone with 1GB)

The 150 TG's you send per week as "maintenance" will also count towards the growth of your site (5 megs per 50 TG's)

So, if you were to sign up today to recruit, and sent 500 TG's this week, you would earn 50 megs of storage (which is what most "free" web hosts give you, plus they cover your shit in adspam)

Next week, you would need to send only 150 TG's to maintain that. Plus, you would earn the 15megs for the 150 TG's on top of that.

Now, for those who have recruited in the past, we will issue a "retroactive payout" at the rate of 5 megs per 100 posts. (Yes, Praggie, we even have enough for you!)

To claim your space, contact Limi.

Also, again, a huge thanks to Limi, who came up with the idea the other night in a cabinet meeting, and to Eluvatar, who is generously providing the space for said program.

Uh-oh.

I'm sure SDixie will give up in the face of a jpeg of people yelling.

I congratulate the new government on this excellent incentive program. Perhaps even I will begin recruiting.

It's a pity so much spam (what do puppies have to do with storage space, pray tell) has clogged this thread.

This new initiative has motivated me to figuratively get off my ass and recruit.  I don't even know what I'd use the space you're giving away for, but in any case, good work!

We always meant to show that recruiting is not a prerequisite but it is a duty we all must do for our region. We wanted to show that we're also aware that it is work and it is your free time we are speaking about, so a reward is in order.
