Executive Award of Merit
« on: August 07, 2007, 01:08:13 AM »
There are people in this region, who have put in effort day in and day out. Exhibiting devotion above and beyond the call of duty, putting in countless hours towards building and maintaining the region. It's time, I think, to start recognising some of these people, and their efforts.

I will, from time to time, be appointing this award to those members of the region that exemplify the qualities listed above. The first such person, has been a huge inspiration to me, was my mentor, and has since gone on to spend countless hours towards recruiting, often with no help from anyone. She has been a minister and served with distinction, and is a former Delegate of Taijitu.

It is both a pleasure and an honour to present the first Executive Award of Merit, on behalf of a grateful region, to Amy, The Crazy Monkeymen.

The next person I'd like to present this to, is a man who's worked countless hours behind the scenes to make this region unique and a cut above the rest. His brilliance and unending patience make him an asset to this region that is beyond measurable value.

He developed our current recruiting system, his technological prowess has benifited the military, the community, every past delegate, and every future delegate. A true and humble servant, i am proud to have him in our region, and even prouder to be his friend.

The second award of merit goes to Eluvatar!

'Grats Amy and Elu, both. Y'all deserve it, almost too well... ;D :P
Music is the key to the heart.

"Once art to me was something far off, unfathomable and unreachable... But I discovered that the real essence of art was not something high up and far off, it was right inside my ordinary daily self. If a musician wants to be a fine artist, he must first become a finer person. A work of art is the expression of a person's whole personality, sensibility, and ability." -Shinichi Suzuki
